REVMMA—Revolution MMA Gym & Fitness Inc

We've been with RevMMA since 2019, my two eldest children are doing the teen boxing and BJJ, and I'm doing the BJJ/ Gracie Combatives. My teens are more confident and are developing practical life lasting skills for self-defense. These should be considered "life-saving" skills which every person should learn, like swimming. My children are taekwondo black belts, but it's the BJJ and boxing which gives me confidence in their self-defense abilities. I can't recommend it enough. For myself, I was apprehensive to start BJJ as I was "old", but better late than never. BJJ has been personally transformative, in that it motivates me to do regular stretching, and other core excercises - I'm overall better now than before I started training. It's a common theme to meet people in the club who have reformed themselves physically. Each person improves themselves from the day before - regardless from where they start. Thank you to the club and coaches!

My 7 y.o. kid loves this place! We switched her coming there 3 times a week based on her positive attitude. I have to say we tried a few activities before (gymnastic,karate,etc.), but only these trainers found right approach to my child. Thank you!

This place is absolutely the worst came here before covid started and loved it. Until the trainer I was working named Alex the owner forced him out of the gym by the owner. I attended one class when they reopened and I felt that it was unsafe classes with too many people. Not spaced out properly and the trainers didn't seem to really care the new trainer didn't seem to know too much about boxing either. I don't feel safe being here I wanted to cancel my membership and they billed me my entire thing what a scam. They definitely will be hearing from my lawyer since they can't bill me my entire membership when I do not feel comfortable during covid especially when I know that they cancel other people's memberships without going on. The owner seems to play favorites well he can favor my lawyer LOL

I would stay away from this gym, there are reasons why many 1 star ratings are liked and found helpful. Similar to other reviews, I also did not feel comfortable with overly aggressive sales speech of "you need to commit and pay for the full year or else". From the start when I called in and they were hiding the prices it seemed a bit sketchy but went in for a free trial class and as expected was forced to pay afterwards for borrowing equipment as I did not agree to sign up at that moment. I do not see why you need to hide the price on the website if you are insisting the prices are affordable... The attitude and the mindset of the guy trying to sell memberships simply comes across as a con artist trying gaslight potential customers. Upon reading other reviews, I am glad I did not provide my payment information to a disorganized and unprofessional organization.

I joined back in August 2019 specifically for kickboxing and never regretted this decision. REV coaches are very attentive to everyone, regardless of your experience level. I’m a beginner myself but I always feel safe and supported. At the same time I see the same coaches provide great training for advanced level students. Would recommend this to anyone who wants to try out MMA and isn’t sure where to begin! You’ll feel welcome from the get-go!

Amazing staff, amazing instructors, and a great environment to work out in! Everyone is so friendly and the quality of the lessons are really high! I am very picky with martial arts gyms since it can be dangerous and the people in the classes can be very aggressive, but at REV MMA, safety was never an issue since the instructors were amazing and everyone in the classes were very respectful. It was honestly an honor to be a member of such a gym and will definitely return if I get the chance to!

Initially I was in search of a martial arts school for my son, that is when I discovered REV MMA. Without any previous expectations, I soon learned that they have a very unique kids program called the Gracie “Bullyproof”. This program teaches children to stand up against bullies, being assertive, and establish control through the arts of Jiu Jitsu. Parents does not need to worry about their children eventually getting into fights in school and/or public by throwing punches and kicks. Jiu Jitsu teaches children the art of submission and compliance. I believe the most important lessons that the children will learn are developing self confidence and being courteous, not fighting! I also found REV MMA to be a family friendly environment. I also started to join the Jiu Jitsu and boxing classes. There are many like myself who join REV MMA with the purpose to help their child, but ended up joining the program too. The class schedules are very accommodating. For example, many parents would join a boxing class while their children are in the Jiu Jitsu class. REV MMA offers boxing, kickboxing (Muay Thai), Krav Maga, and Gracie Jiu Jitsu classes. When enrolled in the Gracie Jiu Jitsu program, your membership includes full access to Gracie University online, where students can review their lessons through videos and notes. If travelling, the membership also gives you access to train in other Gracie Certified Training Centres around the world, free of charge. For those that has limited flexibility with their schedule, REV MMA also offers private one-to-one lessons for all discipline with their highly qualified instructors. Based on my own experience, by the end of one-hour private lesson you will be amazed with how much you have learned and the great cardio exercise along with it. REV MMA contradicts the stereotype of martial arts school/dojo that new comers are intimidate and coerce by the senior students, which generally can be seen from various popular culture. On the contrary, at REV MMA everyone would clap and welcome new students on their first class. Instructors would even spend quality time to assist students to integrate into the class and senior/experiences students would be more than happy to work with new students. This is definitely the place to be for those seeking to learn martial arts, gaining strength, losing weight, and above all keeping a healthy mental and spiritual health.

I love this gym! They have an amazing variety of classes with exceptional coaches. It’s a very welcoming and safe community and the gym is kept clean. You’ll get a good workout in and learn a lot! Best MMA gym I’ve been to!
