J	Jessica Landaverde on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ After a year of salons being closed I was so excited to finally get my hair cut, and after reading the raving reviews decided to pick this salon and requested an appointment with Troy. I showed him multiple reference photos and was very clear that I was looking for long layers and curtain bangs, but unfortunately left with barley noticeable layers and two very large chunks of hair that were claimed to be the curtain bangs. Avoiding any initial confrontation I went home to consult my peers to ensure I wasn't being unreasonable that I thought I had received a bad haircut, but was told "I can't believe they let you leave the salon like that" and multiple other negative remarks that did assure me that it was in fact a bad haircut. Going back the next day to bring up my concerns and potentially get refunded I was greeted with absolute RUDENESS from Troy (the hairdresser and owner). His tone was incredibly demeaning, and being a 20 year old woman I felt extremely belittled during the conversation. I was treated with no respect, he spoke over me, disregarded any comment I made about the haircut, claimed it was not a bad haircut with a tone that intended I was making a ridiculous claim. Overall terrible experience, and TERRIBLE way to treat your customers. I will also be sharing my experience with my 22k+ followers on Tiktok, many of which are based in Toronto:)

I went during the pandemic but felt very safe because the studio limits the number of people and sanitizes everything between clients. I'll definitely be going back again!

My hair was in desperate need of some chopping and Troy perfectly understood what I was looking for. He checked in with me throughout the cut to make sure it was to my liking, which resulted in haircut I absolutely loved. There were no unexpected charges at the end and he struck a perfect balance with the right amount of small talk. I would highly recommend going here for your next treatment!
