This apartment does not even deserve a star.I have been an ideal tenant of this apartment for 2 years before I moved and the harassment my roommate and I had to face constantly for over 6 months before moving is insane..Any body we bought for subletting was denied for one reason or the other. We wanted to sublet for a few months so our name would still be on the lease however someone else would stay on our behalf(yes the management would be aware but they would not need a guarantor because our name and guarantors r still on the lease) so what's the big deal?how many guarantors do they need for a single place?most people that were interested in the flat were new students and they did not have guarantors so ultimately we were forced to pay for two apartments for 6+months;as an international student u can only imagine the amount! The worst part is they did this to us during this pandemic when I already let them know about my job loss.on top,the managers would constantly pry on the property to make sure no one is living there..the new manager is even worse she does not receive our calls, deducted our deposit even though we cleaned the place and left it as is.she refused to give an explanation when I clearly mentioned to that the manager who was here before had said that the deposit wont be deducted as much and that she is satisfied with the cleaning after our initial walk through. The management is really good in begging for good reviews;if someone ever talks about their experience and leaves a bad review they start calling their tenants and beg for good reviews to counteract that.people can just see the pattern if they see the previous reviews.its pathetic and I would recommend everyone to stay away from this place!

This place deserves less than a star....the manager is extremely non challant, irresponsible and too chatty. her husband is way worse. it takes a months to get a simple repair done in the apartment. she gives excuses for her husbands unacceptable behaviour and is extremely pretentious.

The apartments look quite dated but its proximity to all the amenities makes it worth while. You are just a stone's throw awayย from a hospital, grocery stores, transit stop and UofM. There is a high management turnover here. Had three in the two years I was there. They do try their best to keep up. It would have been convenient to have a garbage disposal inside especially in the winter. The rent is quite reasonable.

The apartment has become a place I can call home. The resident manager is approchable and so welcoming. Tries her best every time to tackle issues promptly and effectively. I surely recommend Rembrandt gardens.

The location is okay and the apartment building was in okay shape but the property mangers were hell. They both yelled at me at different instances which is so very unprofessional and immature! When I was moving out one of them made a racist remark and I was charged over $800 in โ€œcleaning feesโ€ which is insane as I left the apartment cleaner than when I moved in. I did like the tims next door and the closeby stores but the lot next to this apartment is a public housing complex so there were people that would follow me asking for money here and there but that wasnโ€™t a big deal. No bed bugs. Just a few sow bugs and spiders. I believe the other review that mentioned abuse. They are seriously mean.

This is one of the apartment buildings that is close to the University of Manitoba. Ideally located next to a Tim Hortons and 10 to 15 mins walk to Canadian superstore. It is along the Pembina Highway which is also close to additional stores for shopping and restaurants. Living at this apartment for over 2 years I have found the property managers to be helpful. Whenever they are not able to get things sorted out right away is because they are awaiting feedback from the head office or other repair workmen. They have always been willing to provide insight and knowledge about any matter once you ask and even provide suggestions on what you need to know especially if you are new to the country. I have seen them go out of their way in emergency situations to ensure that the tenants are safe and secure. Dee Dee and Carey try to assist whenever they can.

To be honest, this is not a high-end apartment complex, however, it is a place that you can call it home. It's such a convenient place and so cozy in winter time (you know, winter is a loooong season in Winnipeg). I have been living in Rembrandt Garden for more than 3 years and I have seen lots of improvement has been done with this building. When I first moved in 3 years ago, the smell in the hallway are constantly terrible, the grass are not well maintained, noises from neighbours in the middle of the night... All these issues have been fixed with the new caretaker moving in the complex. DD and Carey are nice and responsible caretakers. Carey clears the snow in the very early morning in the extreme winter time, and DD will respond to my request immediately. I feel safe and lucky to have them as my apartment caretakers.

The experience with the manager was horrible to say the least. Once they realize you are out of the apartment they treat you like strangers, the previous manager even demanded for our keys back because we moved to a different place but are still tenant here in Rembrandt. Yes, we were no longer living there but we were still expected to pay for the last few months because we signed the lease. that's how unprofessional they are. We have paid our rents always at the first of the month but when we were facing trouble having to pay for two apartments they refused to cooperate and charged us late fees for the last month despite communicating about our struggles way before our rent is due. We requested the previous manger to be there when our apartment carpet gets washed and she never gave us a receipt and the new manager charged us a ridiculous amount from our deposit for cleaning when we handed the apartment just as we got it. She is extremely rude refused to communicate even though I tried to reach out to her several times. The management acted like loan sharks, this is definitely not a place for new international students. It will traumatize you and they will bind you down by guarantor and wouldn't even shy away to low-key threat you that if you are not paying on time they cannot help it and they will just take it from your guarantor. the location might be great but don't be fooled.
