Best Apartment building in Canada

A	Abdur Razzak on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I lived one of this building for 3.5 years. always seen managers been changed every now and then. No consistency. Onsite emergency never replied and fixed on time. lastly when I moved out they are charging me for those thing which I am not liable for. I have cleaned everything and onsite manager was happy with it. After a day they called me for plumbing issue which was not there when I moved out even the site manager saw it. And finally they have sent me a bill of $444.44 for floor replacement in the bathroom. That issue was addressed to them before and they never fixed it. Now they are saying me to pay for that. I contacted the head office and the lady was trying to make a deal with me. she said she will make an adjustment if I pay half of the cost. She gave me two options. I am very busy to run to tenancy branch so I agreed to pay but not willingly. It's kind of trapping. Because I had to think of my credit score. worst place to live. Bed bugs and mouse are common. I had to complain about those at least 100 times but never got fixed. They suck your blood sucking money even after you leave them.

I had a continuous rat issues and new manager seems to have done a good job and now I do not see rats anymore. The building was notorious in the past for bed bugs and rats. However, I don't think that's an issue anymore. P.s. I'm giving 4 stars just because they raised my rent recently by an unacceptable amount.

There is peace of mind in the building, neatness of the environment,quietness and sanctity, the management is very very considerate and patient with tenants.Their maintenance culture is satisfying and the rent is very affordable. I lived there for 1 year and the only reason I moved is because of space...I needed a 3 bedroom cause I have a large family. I hear people talk of bed bugs but I tell you, it's a forgone issue for it has been handled and quite a number of tenants I spoke with also confirmed of their appartments being clean and free from bugs now. With the new residential manager Bradyn who is a very nice and friendly guy, I tell you 99 Dalhousie is a Perfect place to live in.

They wanted my family to come back to the place full of feces everywhere. I refused. They gave me the keys of another apartment that they knew was infested of bedbugs. That's the reason why it was empty. I only stayed there one day, because I found the bedbugs in the first day. I lost several items due to the sewage flooding, my whole furniture due to the bedbugs, my rent payment (cause I had to pay two rents in the same month), my security deposit, and they wanted me to pay for throwing my things in the garbage. But the worst thing in all of this, was not living 15 days in my friends home with my kids, neither having lost a huge amount o money with this process. The worst thing in all of this was to have to talk to that manager during the process.

The surrounding of this apartment is neat and clean. The new manager is very active which is a great advantage for us. Superstore, playgrounds, school and hospitals are near from here. Overall, the locality is great for living.

I know that there were some problems before I only have good experiences here last year. It’s renovated now and no more bug issues. The property manager Angela is awesome. She helped me with so many issues. Anybody need any help can directly talk to her.

There's almost always a fire alarm each month because someone burnt their food. The hallways are incredibly dark and depressing. The carpet looks like it is used for horror movies. The lights are dim. The sorry excuse of a Gym was never even open the entire time I was there. The management has always been changing. Every time I went down to pay rent at the office, there is always a new person at the management. After I left, they charged me an incredible amount without even looking at the apartment properly. Then they mislead me into signing this form that allowed them to Automatically take the money from my bank. Every five star review you see here is probably their own employee trying to get the rating of this apartment up. Oh apparently recently they increased the rent too without addressing any of the problems.
