For those looking for some outdoor activities, St. Boniface Golf Club is a gorgeous 18-hole semi-private course nestled in the neighbourhood along the banks of the Seine River. Next door is Windsor Park Golf Course and the Windsor Park Nordic Centre, which offers cross-country ski rentals and lighted night trails in the winter months.

β β β β β Baylor Place, although the homes are decent, dealing with the care takers and land lady is an absolute nightmare! They are lazy, rude, inconsiderate, and dishonest. I totally regret renting a town home at Baylor Place for that reason alone, they make living here the worst experience. DO NOT RENT FROM BAYLOR PLACE

Went to the office twice and no one is there.

β β β β β Absolutely awful. The caretaker is as dumb as they come and had no respect for tenants. Even the head office has no respect and will do anything they can to steal money from you. The places themselves are fairly nice but You will be treated like absolute garbage. Lakewood sucks

β β β β β Actual townhouses are pretty decent and cheap for students but the landlords are the most crooked individuals I've had the pain of knowing. They are very disrespectful in their demeanour towards tenants, they are lazy in the sense they DO NOT hand out proper paperwork to you on time, they don't know the actual regulations of the tenancies act, and they'll do anything to screw you out of money. Don't expect to get your damage deposit back as you can never clean it enough to their "standards". They do not answer their phones and consistently give wrongful information to tenants.

β β β β β The townhouses themselves are lovely to live in and the rent is very reasonable. The only downside to this place are the caretakers. Common sense is not their strong suit and if you have an issue you need to be on them to have it taken care of. When you move in just consider your damage deposit part of the rent as you can never clean it enough. When we moved out it was cleaner than when we moved in and to make them happy would have required another nights cleaning with a toothbrush to get the level of detail requested. As long as leaving the damage deposit doesn't bug you and you're handy enough to fix minor things yourself then living here isn't too bad.

β β β β β I'm really surprised at the comments and the bad reviews . My experience living at Baylor Place has been nothing but pleasant (except for the very loud and inconsiderate neighbour I had upstairs) . The apartments are super clean and very nice - no bad smells no bugs of any kind . The managers Chantal and Yvonne are quite pleasant people once you get to know them and give them a chance . I had my dishwasher break down 3 times and had an issue with the toilet and it was all repaired asap with just one phone call . I was able to get my damage deposit back as long as you have it clean and in the same condition as you moved in its no problem . I would continue to stay here if we hadn't bought a house . I will miss Baylor place and the resident managers . Thanks so much for a great stay !
