Tudor Village - Winnipeg

This building is very old. Doesn't have elevators and frequent water cuts or brown muddy water.

Although they don't have good customer service and don't use computers, I still love the Apartment. it's beautiful.

I WANT TO GIVE ZERO STARS BUT GOOGLE DOESNT ALLOW US TO DO THAT. VERY RUDE OFFICERS, IVE BEEN HUMILIATED BY THE LEASING MANAGER WITHOUT ANY FAULT OF MINE AND DID NOT EVEN GET AN APOLOGY EVEN AFTER COMPLAINING TO THE HEAD OFFICE. NO RESPECT FOR OUR TIME AND MONEY. FORCED US TO GET OUR CARPET OF THE APARTMENT WHICH WE WERE LEAVING WASHED EVEN AFTER IT WAS CLEANED BY US AND WAS IN AN EXCELLENT CONDITION. RESIDENT MANAGER YELLED AT US WHEN WE QUESTIONED ABOUT THE CONDITION IN WHICH THEY GAVE ME THE NEW APARTMENT IN WHICH WE MOVED. CARPET WAS NOT WASHED, CURTAINS WERE WRINKLED,THERE WERE SPIDER WEBS ALL OVER THE PLACE AND THE FLOOR WAS VERY DIRTY. THEY WANT US TO CLEAN THE APARTMENT WHICH WE ARE LEAVING AND ALSO THE ONE IN WHICH WE ARE MOVING. THIS IS NOT FAIR AND I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND ANYONE TO STAY HERE. LAKEWOOD AGENCIES ARE THE WORST PLACE TO STAY. PLEASE DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY

The renovated suites are really nice, I also love that theres no pet deposit required if you want a cat or small pet, over the time we've been here we really enjoyed the apartment, office ladies are nice and understandable!

Terrible customer service from both the leasing office and head office. I was renting an apartment through Lakewood Agencies and the two women at the office are rude and provide very poor customer service. They don't use computers, and the only source of technology that they have is a telephone. I manually kept track of everything as I couldn't document the issues over email and the head office didn't do anything when I complained to them.

I don't reccomend any of you to live in this appartment, it is very old, have lots of spiders, the maintenance is even worst, resident manager and the head office will not listen to any of their tenants. They will not clean the appartment for you, you will need to clean everything on your own.

Would not reccomend living here. Building is very old and not well maintained. The person who did my enterance inspection commented on how old my fixtures and appliances were, assured me they would be replaced, and of course, they never were. The person doing my exit inspection not only missed the first appointment he scheduled entirely because he claimed to have forgotten about it, but was late for the second one, causing me to me late for work. He was inconsiderate of my time and my father's time who had to drive me to the appointment as I do not have a car. He described the light fixture as "shabby", asking me if it was always that way? Yes, it was because nobody ever replaced them even though I was told they would be replaced.They decided to increase the rent which is why I decided to leave because it certainly was overpriced for the appliances being older than I am now, at 25 years old. They deducted almost 200 dollars from my damage deposit claiming the fridge and oven weren't clean. But like I said, they are older than I am so no amount of scrubbing will get some of the stains out. I am happy to be done with my lease and wouldn't reccommend lakewood agencies to any of my friends or family, considering the office is so dated they don't even have computers. Everything has to be done via mail which is a hassle in this modern age. Poorly maintained, disrespectful/rude people working in the offices. Don't throw away your money

Lived in the newer built building and though they are nice I would not suggest living here. Upon taking over someone's lease the place was dirty when I moved in and had dings and dents in the wall (which they tried to pin on me when I left during the exit inspection). They charged for carpet cleaning and my carpets were in great condition. They do not allow dogs (not even my 12 pound mini schnauzer, I lived on the main floor). The hydro in this place is AWFUL for a new building, it cost me about $350 a month in winter and my upstairs neighbour $400, it was about $150-$200 in summer. When leaving they charge you for every little thing. They wanted to take money off my damage deposit cause I didn't see my son touched a window and there was a hand print on it. They also took money off because I cleaned the fridge with disinfectant but left some white streaks which they didn't like. Honestly just don't live in these places. They look nice but you will regret it like I did in the end unfortunately.
