About Winnipeg Hearing Centres
I have enjoyed working in the hearing health industry since 2001. I graduated from the University of Winnipeg with a B.Sc. (Hons) and subsequently entered the Occupational Health and Safety Program at the British Columbia Institute of Technology. I took a real interest in the damaging effects of occupational noise exposure during this time. I was on contract with the OHS Dept of a large manufacturer when an employment opportunity in the hearing health field was presented to me. I became very interested in the field, and two years later I graduated from the Hearing Instrument Practitioner Program at Grant MacEwan College. Since graduation, I have obtained my Board Certification in Hearing Instrument Sciences.

โ โ โ โ โ Avoid the one on Pembina Highway. The audiologist is rude. I wonder why he became an audiologist when he is so disrespectful of seniors. My dad asked him a question and the audiologist just ignored him. Maybe he needs his hearing tested.

โ โ โ โ โ After a terrible experience with another hearing clinic, meeting Jim Selinger was a relief and provided hope. His second opinion on the issues at hand were incredibly helpful. The consultation and hearing test were for a friend of mine who is an older adult and she was grateful for the way the consult was handled and how truly kind Mr. Selinger is. You can tell he has a passion for what he does and the respect he displays is commendable. The front desk staff person was also very friendly and respectful. I recommend anyone requiring any type of hearing service to visit this centre, even if it means a trek across the city!

โ โ โ โ โ Can't recall how many years that I have been dealing with Jim at Winnipeg Hearing but the service has been excellent. I deal a lot with Jim by emails as it is very convient. Jim's responses to my emails have been very quick. The front desk service has also been excellent. I would recommend Winnipeg Hearing to anyone requiring hearing services.
