I buy presents for my family here all the time.
They always give me a great explanation of how the controler works and how to correctly recharge the baterry, unlike amazon I never had an issue with any product I bought here.
Highly recommended.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I purchased a mini drone from here. After a couple weeks or so I accidentally broke one of the wings internally. I came back here to have it fixed, paid up front $20, picked it up a couple days after (when they contacted me it was ready) and brought it home. After that I did not find time to fly it, but when I did and excitedly took it out, THEY DID NOT REPAIR IT. Due to the time span in between of me not flying it, I saw no point in dealing with them to refund me. However I am furious, do not and will not go back there again. So now I'm out $20 and a drone, and will be out another $20 when I go to get this repaired somewhere else, many thanks RC World...
*Side note: From observation and research, this store has an endless amount of negative reviews. Most of which have aggressive and rude replies from none other than RC World*
Response to owners comment: You cannot say my drone was flying well. I bet you can't even recall the model. I was not taken through any of these steps you mention, so that again says something about your service. I would love to come back if the bill is taken care of, otherwise I cannot trust it will be fixed when I arrive home. Having a average 2 star rating really says something about this shop. Not only I have had this issue, but many others as well apparently. The only thing I want RC World to do is go through these reviews, find the common complaints and fix them; so hopefully other families can enjoy coming here.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We bought electric car for our son (the price was over $500), it broke just by driving on the unpaved road. We brought it in for repair, they said they CAN NOT REPAIR IT (there was electrical damage on wires or something). They offered "trade in" for floor model that was priced for $440 at the store (the offer was $400 cash without tax?! how is that even? ). TAX aside. Basically they wanted to keep my son's "unrepeatable car" and give us floor model with $40 ridiculous discount and the floor model was scratched and looked way worst than our original car. We both me and my husband felt like they are trying to get our car to fix and re sell it or something (as the employee who also said is the manager of the store was very interested in keeping my son's car). The employee was very unfriendly and not interested to have happy customer. Would not recommend this place. Reason being not even product and their inability to repair it, but the fact they were not polite or forward coming.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I had a great experience buying a ride on car for my daughter. A beautiful pink lovely Mercedes.Their cars are coming with remote controls and that's what other stores like Costco don't offer.
My daughter then happy and I'm happy.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Be warned of false advertising & poor customer service! I recently purchased $600 buggy wheel for my daughter's birthday based on the website description. When I unboxed it the item did not have the same features as described on the website - cheap plastic tires and seats. I called to make complaints to the manager/owner. His attitude was pretty much 'take as is,' and hung up. Take your business elsewhere on other websites where you might be getting something worth spending your hard-earned money.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I DO NOT RECOMMEND BUYING FROM HERE. Very poorly made products and terrible customer service.
I purchased a small toy car from here for my friend's son's birthday. The test car in the store worked great and looked very cool! Unfortunately, when my friend opened the box, the car battery latch was broken. They tried to fix it so their son could play with it, but after the first day or two they had another issue, the plastic holding the front screws also broken. They tried to fix it again but the battery latch broke for a second time so I took it in to exchange or refund, was willing to accept whatever option was offered. They only had the car for about 2 weeks.
The store owner didn't offer any refund or exchange and just said "that's not our policy". He then said I should have brought it in as soon as it was broken upon opening, then he could have exchanged it at that point. I explained my friends tried to fix it, but he didn't care and again just kept saying "that's not our policy". He offered no exchange, no credit, no sympathy for the poorly made product, nothing! I would not recommend this store.

yes when I tested the one in the store it worked great and was cool. HOWEVER the one I purchased and gave as a gift WAS BROKEN IMMEDIATELY UPON OPENING, before my friends child used it. They glued it together and let their son play with it, at which time it broke further. They fixed it again, and it broke again, that's when I brought it back.
