The triage process was fair but once they send you to a room and you have to wait to see a doctor, then your wait begins. It does not matter how excruciating your pain is and how terrible you feel, you can be in the room for hours. The nurses just kept saying that the doctor was coming! When will this doctor come? Is he/she flying in from Vancouver? May be Queensway Carlton should only deal with non-emergency treatments to avoid the loss of lives. We will avoid Queensway Carlton Hospital next time.
J	Jake Beers on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Been to the ER several times in the last month and was admitted for surgery one of the times. Longest wait I’ve had from waiting room to doctor was an hour and a half and I was there for post op infection. Far more organized than they use to be for sure.

The nurses here spend more time socializing and gathering, making fun of patients than working. A lot of the nurses were snotty to people. There was zero compassion on these nurses. They spent time gabbing and complaining.Their ability to evaluate their patients and triage them is also very poor.

So one-time my visit was for in-patient surgery and the other was for emergency services. I thought that all the staff was professional, nice, and empathetic/sympathetic. Very pleasant experiences considering you're in a hospital.
