Very nice staff at the Presentation Centre. This tower will look amazing!! Plus most of the amenities are on the top floor (pool, gym with a view, terrace) There's even a yoga room! And so close to the Queensway Carleton Hospital. Thank you to Joyce and Celine for their warm welcome and impeccable service. Can't wait to see the model units this Fall!

I have spoken to vincent, the property manager on 3 occasions. My grandmother is moving to a retirement home and Vincent repeatedly refused to book elevators as he had said my grandmother had not given her 2 months notice, however she is keeping the unit. Very poor management, do not agree with how they are treating my senior grandmother.

Very small bedrooms, can only fit a queen size bed and nothing else, no dresser… just enough room to walk around the bed, very little space… long wait time for elevator, several times waited 30 minutes or more, because only one functional elevator, the other is always broken down.. None of the common area or building amenities are ready. Also very noisy as construction is on going. Paying for luxury, not so luxurious. Also, the design layout is horrible. Furniture doesn’t fit well… Good luck fitting a couch and love seat, struggle to fit one. There is no storage in the unit, the linen closet is a joke, it is not very deep… because of no storage tenants have to pay for a storage locker, brigil should include a locker in the rent because of the poor design… it’s not fun moving into a place and having to get rid of items. I have been discouraged and depressed ever since moving in.. I was excited before moving in because I thought it was going to be my dream apartment but I was wrong. Not sure who designed this place and how it was ever approved. I expected more from brigil, so I am very disappointed. Oh and it would be nice if when brigil staff provides a 5 star review that they indicate they work for the company. Just saying!!

We were looking to downsize and stay in our current Qualicum area. Baseline Brigil lifestyle looked appealing so we set up an appointment to learn more. Joyce answered all our questions, showed us units that might meet our needs and we were impressed! Amenities such as pool, gym and outdoor common areas to support our wellness and our units panoramic windows, new appliances, quality fixtures AND so much included made our decision easy. Happy to say we will be calling it home April 1st.! So far, it’s been a WOW experience! I will review again with photos once we move be in. UPDATE: We have moved in and love our space. Sure everything is not completed but Brigil is working hard to ensure spaces are completed by The end of May. Construction workers are friendly and call our dog by name. Our unit is beautiful with panoramic windows and state of the art appliances. We are happy to be a part of this community and look forward to using its many amenities very soon.

Back in the summer time I had signed a lease for a move in dated December 1st. I was super excited as the building looked great. With little less than a weeks notice I was told my move-in would be delayed due to City of Ottawa witholding an Occupancy permit. I understand we're going through a pandemic and that can slow things so I was understanding and was okay for a delayed move in for December 8th. The day of, I had a Internet Technician call me as he was coming to install internet to ask "Are you sure you're living here today?" I was absolutely shocked that I had to hear from a third party, not Brigil themselves, that I would infact not be moving in that day, the very same day I was supposed to be living in the building. When I got to the building I was told to wear a hard hat and eventually was confronted by construction staff saying I shouldn't be in there when I was told I would be living there that day. Brigil offered NO compensation for this disaster, and pretended to listen to me voice my concern. I got in contact with a higher sales rep who assured me my voice would be heard and that he would get back to me but he completely ignored me afterwards. Brigil was 2 months behind on schedule and they lied to their tenants citing that the City of Ottawa was witholding an Occupancy permit due to some water pressure issue, but when I went into the building on the 8th of December and saw the state the building was in, I knew these people were lying. Construction workers were everywhere, nothing was finished. I had to wear a hardhat to go inside the building. They let me in without me having proper PPE on (no steel toe boots) into a construction site. This is not how you treat your future tenants. These people knowingly witheld information from future tenants that the building was behind on schedule, and offered NOTHING besides a hotel to stay in while people waited for construction to end. Absolutely absurd considering this was bare minimum they should do for people who were potentially homeless over the christmas holidays. From my experience, Brigil is untrust worthy and only cares about the bottomline. Avoid at all costs.

As many others have mentioned here and elsewhere Brigil does not live up to it's own hype... The Baseline project has failed miserably. The sales pitch and promotion materials were far from what awaited my 85 year old mother. Beginning in May 2021 my mother showed an interest in moving into the Brigil Baseline building as it was close to a known area and boasted luxurious appointments geared to 55+ adults. The sales representative was very positive and confidently assured her that construction was on track for November1st. As time went on the occupancy date was pushed back and a lease was signed on October 21st for a December 1st occupancy. Last minute, November 27th, news came stating occupancy would not be possible for December 1st. My mother has yet to be fully compensated. Potential occupancy became a day by day waiting game. Move in of furniture was allowed... into an unfinished, filthy unit on December 8th though access to the building required that we and movers wear hard hats. The building was still very much a construction zone. The news of an occupancy permit came as a surprise on December 23rd. The unit was still unfinished and quite dirty. The bedrooms are both small and she had to downsize to a double bed. The layout of the unit including closet doors and the "master" bathroom door is ridiculous. Brigil designers need a lesson on practicality... it's laughable. My mother had to survive in a construction environment with drilling and banging going on all around her. The windows and door leaked air which cause heating and odour issues. Ice built up on windows and the patio door. There was a constant odour of garbage lasting for weeks even after it was brought to mgmts attention. This odour was followed by chemical odours. Slowly, some of the deficiencies were dealt with, including acquiring a dishwasher, new stove and faulty washer/dryer combo which rattled and banged on the floor. Pieces of the washer broke off and were found in the washer with her clothes. Many items are still outstanding (March 23rd). The elevators have been a constant source of anxiety with lengthy wait times. Amenities have been nonexistent. My mother's health has suffered greatly during this all causing her to look for other accommodations. BRIGIL broke the lease agreement and dropped the ball - HARD. To add insult to injury they've chosen to nickel and dime her as a result of their failings. Gilles Desjardins you should be ASHAMED. With utter disappointed, Iris Janzen

Excellent service from Joyce and Vincent. We love the building, and appreciate getting a quick response to any questions we have. The apartments are bright and modern and the size corresponds to the floor plans as laid out on the website. All workers and staff friendly and accommodating. Thank you Brigil!
