I reside at Greynam court, the area is clean and the community is nice. I get great service from our coordinator Malorie and Dan the superintendent. Good spot to reside.

I would highly recommend renting with a different company. We have had a lot of issues with communication with Minto. Today they just showed up to do a pre-evacuation inspection of the house and gave us no notice at all and some strange man was trying to enter my house. I have animals that could have gotten out, had I not been home. They also charged us 100$ to switch over a lease holder and never told any of us there was a fee until 3 months later when they threatened to send it to collections. Very poor communication on their part, and the one specific person we always have to deal with is always very unhelpful when it comes to problem solving. We also had a flooded basement in the spring and an ant infestation due to actual HOLES in our house to the outdoors, and they refused to fix anything. (The leak was also right beside the electrical box). Overall it's been a really awful experience. Do yourself a favour and rent somewhere else ?

I would not recommend renting here. I still live here, I love the people and am happy with the area because I’m near a park but minto has upped the rent by nearly 100$ since I’ve moved in- for NO reason. They will do basic necessary repairs like fixing the roof and justify ridiculous rent hikes EVERY year because they “made improvements”. I fail to see how repainting the doors (an ugly color and only because the old paint was peeling and making them look bad!) and doing NECESSARY repairs like fixing roofs is an “improvement”? Why are we paying so much additional for this company to actually maintain its property? There should not be a rent hike because the homes are falling apart- minto does not deserve a pay raise because they didn’t let their properties fall to pieces. Minto also ripped down everyone’s fences then delayed setting them back up. I had a makeshift fence but I have two dogs and NEEDED the gate, and yet, minto RIPPED apart my yard right before Christmas, did not repair the gate, and left me a muddy mess to deal with and gave my dogs an escape route. Taking them to the bathroom is an ordeal now because minto is lazy and will take YEARS to do what they prOmise (a new fence despite the old one being fine) unless you’re facing the road... then it’s done fast. Also good luck EVER getting maintenance to your house. You have to call four times, be told “today or tommorow :)” and then four weeks later after constant calls and asking MAYBE maintenance shows up. You have to harass them or they won’t do anythibg. Anyways, I’ll need to move out soon with the unnecessary rent hikes, as much as i love my neighbors and the area. I didn’t réalisé the initial price was a joke and they planned to make you pay premium prices for half-finished houses in poor areas.

Rental office was moved 6km away. The workers in charge of snow removal are horribly inadequate. Laundry machines are always broken. At least the floors are relatively clean. Avoid if possible.

So I’ve been living in South CenterPoint now for over five years. Yes, I have noticed a decrease in quality and service; however, I know that it is not our local office’s fault. I think the local office does everything they can possible to ensure every tenant has a safe viable home and does everything they can to help fix repairs at the best of their capabilities. I will agree that there have been times where there’s been certain issues, but again I feel the local office staff does everything they can to make their tenets happy while their own hands are tied. I will continue to live here as soon as I am able to, and have the very most confidence in Melissa, Mallory and Dan.

I’ve lived with Minto for about 11 years now, 5 at South Centrepointe. Honestly things have really changed lately especially with Blake the Service Coordinator for Craig Henry, he’s super quick to respond and actually gets stuff done. I’ve had multiple service requests handled and repairs done around the house, any issues with the repairs Ive had, Blake has had them come back and do it right. Recently I had some wildlife in my units walls again, happened last year in the spring and they just patched up a hole in the wiring cabinet for cable/phone and left it at that. this time with Blake he actually replaced the whole cabinet and it was a surprise to me because honestly old management would of never bothered. Blake is doing awesome, but we need more support from higher management as well as he can only do so much it seems and is why I can’t give 5 stars. My unit is outdated, and I do have the wax on my wood floors all ripping apart and causing a issue for possible poison issues for my daughter and dogs that I’ve mentioned for years but higher management won’t approve to have it redone. Constant mold in my bathroom but they just keep repainting it and never come up with a solution and I am told to open my window but then the window breaks in the winter because it has springs on the exterior and I am told to keep it closed.
