Everyone at this office is very pleasant and make you feel completely comfortable! The receptionists are always friendly, nurse is nice and the 2 doctors I’ve experienced were amazing! Highly recommend!!

I cannot express how amazing this clinic is. My doctor in Angus was terrible at getting me appointments on time and had no urgency with getting me special time sensitive tests. I reached out to this clinic as im a first time mother and I had some pretty valid concerns that wernt being answered by my doctors office. The ladies at this clinic called me back within the day of me reaching out to them, and took care of me until i was passed along to my OB, which they also arranged for me. The NP Nicole was extremely friendly and was very knowledgeable. If you are struggling with your doctor like i was, or are new in town, i would highly recommend reaching out to the team.

Here's how my experience with Barrie Pre-natal Clinic was: At 7 weeks I found out about my pregnancy and was forced to seek care here after being waitlisted by the midwife clinic. Initial in-take was over the phone. They booked me for an appointment on Oct 30th and moved to a new building without sending their patients a notice. On the day of I had to call and explain I won't be able to make it as my husband has gone to work with the car and the new location is a 20 min dr. The receptionist (Melissa) was not pleased. She said to me: "we need 24 hr notice and you should explain to your husband that prenatal care is important". My husband is currently deployed with the military. I apologized and I was rescheduled for 7 days later. When I showed up, a nurse practitioner student did my first ever check up gave me requisites and informed me: "I will not be examining the baby today, you might not hear a heart beat" ok. I was not gaining any weight and that was noted. 3 weeks after my first and only appointment I noticed after stepping on my scale at home that I have lost nearly 8lbs due to nausea and vomiting. Friday I called and left a voicemail. Monday I called and asked for prescription medication to which Melissa said "nurse practitioner is not here, working out of other clinics. won't be until tomorrow I will leave a note and you can go to emerge if not well". (in the middle of a pandemic?) Tuesday no update I call and ask reception to receive a call from any nurse or nurse practitioner available. After repeating old conversations back to me she finally agreed to have someone call me back. The nurse practitioner (Nicole) finally calls me saying she was on vacation yesterday, never met or heard from her before and I am now 4 months pregnant. Calls not to give me medical advise or reassurance but to give snarky comments on how an "OB won't be in touch with you any time soon"(on the day of this conversation by noon I had already spoken with my new OB) and "we manage many patients even more high risk than you, you can go to emerge for IV fluids if you want". I guess Mondays are the days her high risk patients fend for themselves? I said I'd appreciate the prescription and said goodbye. The cherry on top of my experience with Barrie Prenatal Clinic was when they listed my ethnicity as Indian without ever asking me (I'm not), I had to correct the nursing student they use to give check ups so my chart can be corrected if medically relevant. Does this sound like a place you wanna get prenatal care? if so, good luck.

where to even begin. started going to this clinic because my doctor is over an hour away and i didn’t want to travel as far as this is my first pregnancy. at my 12 week first in patient check up the dr couldn’t find the heartbeat on the doppler and the literally told me i had had a miscarriage!!!! i was so shocked and upset! luckily i had an ultrasound the next day so everything turned out to be fine with my baby. so ridiculous, luckily i was waiting on a referral to another OBs office and got the call soon after this!! *sigh* won’t ever return here again.

they keep cancelling our appointment and having to reschedule so i’m not returning, this time they called 25 min before our scheduled appointment saying they didn’t have any nurses in. when you call it goes to a pre recorded voicemail every time even though there’s always someone sitting at the front desk. the last time i was there when i went up to the front desk they weren’t wearing their masks, considering they work with babies you’d think they’d be more cautious. place is unorganized.

I won't get into the multiple negative issues my toddler and I have had here due to personal privacy, but stay away from this place. The doctors you see are far from knowledgeable which is very scary at times especially if you are having a high risk pregnancy. The receptionists NEVER answer the phones (meanwhile they are sitting behind the front desk with no masks on and chatting about their weekends while the phones ring), and they'll leave you cryptic fear-inducing voicemails two minutes before they close. In hindsight I wish I would have just driven the 1.5 hours to our old practice and received the same care I had with my previous pregnancy. I could go on and on, however I feel what I've mentioned above should be more than enough to make people steer clear of this place.
