K	Kylo on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is NOT a store. This is a warehouse. The store photos are for the other Ontario location inside a mall. All reviews here for the store are a mistake and meant for the other location. They're also resellers and raise prices of popular items.
B	B on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is your go-to destination for Squishmallows. BUT it comes at a price. Many at inflated prices, but you will also find some decently priced or 'on sale' as well. Where Playtime Toys take a hit is lack of customer service. BEWARE: Customer service and product knowledge is non-existent. Make sure you don't just grab any Squishmallow and purchase it without inspecting the entire squish. The store will sell you torn or holed Squishmallows without hesitation if they can get away with it. They're only looking to make as much off of you as possible. They don't care about customer service or quality control. No refunds or exchanges. I pointed out numerous damaged Squishmallows that were torn and they refuse to remove them from the shelves. One employee openly admitted they just leave them or will attempt to fix it themselves to try to sell them as new. Overall, this is a place you will want to visit if on the hunt for Squishmallows but just be sure to proceed with caution!
L	Leah H on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Bought a very pricey squishmallow and one was damaged with large hole. I tried contacting them showing pictures and received zero response 4 days later. They have WhatsApp and I saw my comment was read within hours and I emailed as well. I will update if they get back to me offering any solution or even comment. I used to not entirely mind buying them at their prices but this lack of quality inspection and customer service on top of the prices has driven me away as of now.

The owner and employees are so kind and helpful and love to help you find exactly what you need! I'm so happy to be able to support a fellow Canadian small business and I definitely recommend checking them out in person or online!

They’re greedy. They’re resellers. The owner of the company is creepy and drops packages off at your house when you pay for shipping. Shady company.
k	kyra baker on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I had an online order & one of the items i had ordered was actually not in stock. i was refunded and then messaged about the refunded item, but i was a bit confused as i saw the item online in stock, & sometimes texts can be hard to understand. so then i received a call where everything was explained to me fully & even got into a bit of a conversation :) i recommend ordering from playtime toys!

While in the process of checking out the price of my items increased and the cost of shipping increased despite me not adding more items to my cart. The products this company sells are incredibly popular. And when they notice one character selling faster then another they will increase the price in order to make more money. Characters from the same shipment are priced at various costs due to popularity. My issue is not that they are priced based on popularity my issue is that the company refused to honour the initial price at the time I added the items to my cart. I emailed the company asking them to honour that pricing and they refused, proceeded to ask if I would like to cancel my order, had some of the items not been for another person I would have simply cancelled my order. It took 3 emails for them to respond regarding this issue. When I asked for an explanation as to why they wouldn’t honour the correct price they simply did not respond.

I emailed them asking if they could ship here from Canada (which they do via UPS). Right after I placed my order of Squishmallows ! They shipped super quick, I was really surprised ! Thank you so much for fast delivery and great customer service! Will be ordering again in the future!
