J	Josh Fee on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice shop, probably one of the best places in Toronto for graded books and keys, not a ton of recent back issues if that's what you're looking for. It's a cool concept though, the front of the store has a lot for kids and then as you get towards the back it's more for serious collectors. Which does lead me to my one gripe. I know every store has to make choices about how they manage their costs but charging extra for a bag/board is not awesome. To my knowledge it's only this place and Beguiling that do that. It's like a sushi restaurant charging extra for chop sticks. For the amount of money they save it's not worth the poor perception it creates. I'm not talking giving away top quality mylar with 56pt backs, but most stores have a pile of discarded poly bags and brownback boards they'll toss on if you ask so you can get your goods home without damaging them. Good shop generally though. Oh and apparently they have a cool membership program as well where you can collect points if you go there often.

J	Jonathan Sohn on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Instead of charging me the Canadian price on the back in the book, insisted on using the U.S. price then converting it to Canadian. I doubt this practice is employed when the dollar is strong. If you want to charge higher prices, use price tags.

The staff have always been friendly, and seem to want to help, but they never follow through. Every single time I visited over the course of 6 months they were missing items that I had requested. Further, they were clearly dishonest in telling me they'd ordered the items which would never come in. They seem to prioritize buying and selling graded comics. So if that's what you're looking for this shop might be for you. It's certainly not the place for anyone that wants to pick up their monthly titles.

I have the honor of being a patron for two. Peter the owner is one of the friendliest and courteous owners there is. Not to mention a bevy of knowledgeable and insightful employees. One of which is Dan, who've been so very helpful in making me feel welcomed and important. With that in mind, they are one of two comic stores (the other being Gotham Central) to help in my CGC needs. One of the best comic caterers in Ontario!! Go in and be astounded!!!
