I was going to purchase a crib from this location along with a mattress and perhaps a change table. I walked around the store with the sales person and she was to draw me up a quote. I left anticipating a follow up email with the quote but it never came. I called several times to ask them to send it and it never arrived. I ended up shopping elsewhere. I then ordered my car seat online and didn’t receive a confirmation message. When I emailed a couple weeks later, my order was paid for but they had not received the order on their end. Very disappointing. I was trying to support local, but they made this difficult.

I have waited more than 3 months for a crib I purchased in December. Still waiting. Each time I call for an update (I’ve called 4 times since purchasing so I’ve hardly been a nuisance) either the call is not returned or I’m told curtly it’s the manufacturer and I just have to wait. While that is likely true, no effort is made to show any understanding that I now have a child and no crib. No concern, no offer to help me in any way whatsoever. I’ve already spent thousands on this, other paraphernalia and a wonderful stroller-but won’t shop there again, nor would I recommend you do either. Be very careful about buying anything you can’t walk out with.

Westcoast is a great place to get ready for a baby. They do an amazing job at getting great discounts on all the major name brand baby products. Their pricing is extremely competitive and if not they are willing to match. The staff are extremely knowledgeable. I cannot emphasize this enough. They go above and beyond for customers. Both in store and over the phone. They are patient and willing to educate. They will advise you of an upcoming sales if it is a product you’re about to purchase. I regret not having my registry there.

I loved this store and found some of the employees to be really lovely and helpful, but I won’t be shopping here again. I ordered a pricey baby carrier back in November with a 4-6 week arrival. After we were beyond that time with no carrier here, I asked what was going on. They said it was delayed until at least March. I’m angry they didn’t call to tell me, and wouldn’t allow me to take a refund instead. They offered to switch to another model so I did that, and they said it would arrive within 2-4 weeks, and was just transferring between stores so it would really be here by then. 7 weeks later, still no carrier. They’re blaming the trucker convoys for the delay but the convoy didn’t begin until it was already delayed, and it’s shipping from Winnipeg to Toronto. Exactly which part of that route was being blocked by the convoy? Because as far as I know, that route has been mostly clear. Every week they said this week it’ll arrive and I’ll have it no later than early next week. It never comes. I understand if there are delays. There are definitely reasons why it can be delayed. However the lack of communication and the lies saying it’s any day now is completely unreasonable. Waste of time and money.

What an incredible experience!!! This is a one stop shop with superior customer service that is not only caring but very knowledgable with a wide selection of excellent products. Being a first time mom, only child, this new journey and all the baby products can be overwhelming at times. The staff, especially Christina who was the most incredible, patient, informative and caring individual listened to all of your questions, provided great options and actually took the time to get to know us. Damien, who also helped us in one of the sections, was extremely knowledgeable, honest and helped us with our registry providing great feedback on a variety of products that are necessities and things that were nice but not crucial. Sometimes you will find at other stores they just want to sell you on everything and anything. This store has everything and all the staff are super gracious and informative.

We went to the store today on a mission to buy a stroller and felt completely overwhelmed at all the options. We had some specific needs in mind, but didn't know what to focus on otherwise. The staff in the stroller section this afternoon were super helpful and attentive despite numerous customers coming in and out. They gave us recommendations and showed us how to use the various strollers we were considering. We hope we made the right decision since strollers are final sale, but overall feel very positive thanks to the help and advice we received from the staff.

the store is only getting a 1 star because of the really nice baby products they carry. Everything else is a NEGATIVE ZERO. It is almost like they hire staff based on the disinterest and attitude. I walked in last night to do an online return at 5pm (they close at 6) and the store had 3 groups of customers (myself being 1 of them) and at least 4 staff walking around, setting up displays etc. NOT A SINGLE ONE OF THEM GREETED ME. They all either avoided eye contact or looked at me and looked away. There was a cashier and I was the first in line with nobody in front of me, she literally saw me standing at the register and walked right by me and away without looking at me or saying a word. I stood at the register for a good 5 minutes with 2 staff right behind me arranging the display. Not one person wanted to help. I had to ask one of them who reluctantly helped me. The purpose of my visit was to return an online order. Get this--because the items ordered were at a 10% discount, i cannot get my money back but a store credit. I literally returned the item the day i received it. What kind of a store policy is this? While I have to shop there to use up my gift card and i do like their stuff, i would prefer not to support a business that takes no care or appreciation for their customers. Horrible store staff.

We love this store. We frequent it often in our weekend walks. And it’s Canadian owned! We registered here and used the registry close out discount to purchase our crib. They have a low price guarantee. The showroom upstairs is so nice. Also, their website I find to be quite good. The stroller guy is the best - super knowledgeable.
