Lots of cool toys, but too bad if you want to actually try them, or god forbid, maybe just pick them up and hold them before you buy. There are signs all over the store saying "no demos", and the store owner will give you grief if you take something off the shelf. During my first (and only) visit I witnessed him yell at a young boy for taking a plush toy snake off its rack, telling him to "leave it where it is, they're organized." I myself was looking at a cool little wind-up car and reminiscing about my own childhood toys, and he told me that when you buy a ferrari you don't get to drive it until you buy it (???!!!) and it's the same with the toy cars. Uh, this dude is out to lunch. I don't know how he's in business. I recommend going to literally any other toy store in the city.

I'm sure there were lots of great toys in the store but I never had a chance to find out. The owner followed my children and I around the shop watching like a hawk. If one of the kids picked up a toy he'd jump in and say: "no demos" - the sign says! And indeed there were many "friendly" signs of that nature posted around the shop. The kids weren't even really using the toys - barely picking them up before he'd accost them. It was so uncomfortable we left ASAP. For a toy store owner he doesn't seem to understand his clientele. Maybe he should just do online business...no pesky humans to deal with.

I agree with the reviews, full on insulting customer service. The man scolded my 2 year old 3 times for just touching toys until I scolded him and left. If you don't like children or things to be touched, run a museum, not a toy store. If things are breakable, keep them behind glass instead of scolding every person who walks in. Kids often leave things slightly out of place and the parent does their best to fix it as they go along. The parent usually buys something to make up for that, but who wants to buy something from a person who keeps scolding them? I I don't know how they make any money being so rude. This was the first store we visited when we arrived, and it was a very unpleasant experience.

Wonderful selection of toys not found in every toy store. However, the owner is very rude. You are not allowed to touch or pick up anything to look at it. God forbid you try to take a child into the toy store, if something is moved even half an inch he freaks out. If my children look at something, I make sure it is replaced properly, they aren't tornadoes. My daughter was looking at the plastic papo animals and he got very upset because she reached out to touch one because they will break when she drops them. (Papo animals are virtually indestructible). We have come in several times over the last few years, giving the benefit of the doubt, thinking perhaps it was just a bad day. Unfortunately each time we have gone we have had the same experience, and it seems to be getting worse. They also have another store just across the water at Canada place. They usually have hired help at that store so it's a little more friendly but not always. I do not suggest either store as it is not a good experience for anyone, especially kids who get yelled at for doing nothing wrong. I personally cannot support someone who treats their customers in such poor manner.

Very rude employee and was not welcomed. My younger brother, 8 at the time, was asking my family what this store was and the employee replied: "It's a store... Where you buy things... and you don't touch anything..." We assumed she was being sarcastic as a joke, but proceeded to say "I'm in a bad mood, don't make me mad" or something along the lines. The fact she had to project her poor mood onto us really made us feel unwelcomed. COmpared to the other reviews, I can see this is a common trait of the store. How can you own a toy store an not expect people to touch and especially have a bad attitude at a TOY STORE?

Had exceptional customer service. The lady was even nice enough to wrap my purchase and threw in cool gift free of charge. 11/10 will go back for my future toy store needs

Good selection of toys, prices average but service, the worse, really, really rude couple, I guess the owners, it should be anything except a kids store, they expect you to come and buy without your kids? or I am not sure, people especially kids are not allowed to touch the toys or you get in trouble, they can start yelling at you in not time.. the worse service and worse kids store for my experience
