If I could rate a 0 I would. Don't bring your stuff here. I had 6 pairs on new lulu leggings, MK SHOES, designer bags, Steve Madden shoes and zara three bins to revive 100. Called another location to be told I should've been paid 300. It's a scam don't go. Girl with glasses is so rude to customers

This location is such a disappointment. I’ve gone in a few times as this is the closest one to my house but I never leave with anything. The selection isn’t great, the prices here are insane. Even looking through the racks is frustrating. You don’t separate out plus size items just throw it in with the XL section. Also when you are looking through a size that is actually marked you find it’s a mix of all sizes they don’t keep any of it organized. The staff don’t watch the store at all, We waited for 15 min for someone at the cash to become available to unlock doors for the change room. Very disappointed, however I do love Plato’s .. just make the trip to the Vaughan location it’s worth it.

When I got my message saying my items were ready for pickup, I was told to wait in line where the purchases are made. Two customers were being helped at the cash and one more customer ahead of me in line. When one of the customers was checked out and left, the girls behind the counter started chit chatting instead of helping the next customer. We waited there another 5 mins until the girl who was serving her customer said can you help with the people in line. Not the greatest customer service at this location. Won’t be going back.

The clothes really are what people on here say. It was the closest location of my home in Downtown Toronto but it was a waste of my time trekking over there. I took my clothes in to sell but they didn’t take a single piece. My clothes are SO much better in style and condition than what they have on display. I didn’t buy a single piece. I was told that my clothes are outside of their 2-3 year rule but I see the clothes on the racks and most of them look ready to be trashed. I am not joking. And they look more than 2-3 years old. They look like they are 10 years old because of their style and condition. I saw many patent leather jackets with ripped parts on the sleeves. I feel like there are no good consignment stores (maybe the ones who take only designer clothes are better). Though I want to be sustainable especially as we have such excess of clothing, I have to stick to new clothes from retail stores. I want to wear clothes that I feel good in.

I honestly don’t know why folks are leaving such poor customer service reviews, I found everyone who worked there to be super friendly and helpful. You definitely won’t make back what you paid for your clothes but that’s to be expected. Great if you wanna offload some clothes and make a couple bucks back! Will probably be back to shop :)

Let me start off by saying that I purchase a lot from this store and all the staff I’ve come in contact with have been super nice. I prefer coming to this one rather than the one closer to me. That being said, the one thing I’m having issues with lately is the condition of the items. It’s like there’s lack of quality control and the staff buying the items aren’t checking for flaws thoroughly. I buy online (for their weekly drops) but I find I’m having to make extra trips to return flawed items. I’ve purchased a jacket with a shredded lining, colour transfer on leather pants, and seams starting to rip on a pair of pants— just to name a few. Stuff that shouldn’t be missed. Just a little disappointing lately.

SCAM ALERT! I was warned about this company being a scam but I went anyway. I took about 15 items. Most were not worn and others were gently used. Three items only $7.25. 25 minutes waiting for them to “sort through clothes” for $7.25? Huge scam! The items they took were originally $45 together- no tax and I only get back money worth of a grande coffee from Starbucks? Never coming back here to sell or buy… The clothes and shoes they have there smell like sweat and are heavily used and damaged… not to mention, over priced. I posted on social media about my experience and the amount of replies I received about my friends experiencing the same scam situation were a good amount. Embarrassing to say the least. Selling items for over $10 when they are only worth $2 at Value Village? Never coming back again not only because of my experience but also because of dirty this store also was…

Plato's closet is generally a pretty great store but this one is especially good. Their selection is varied and inexpensive, lots of fun to go sorting through racks. I found quite a few things the last time I shopped there! I'm always impressed with my total considering the number of items I've purchased. I will definitely be back.
