The store is supposed to be full of values... however, I find it extremely overpriced. I understand that proceeds go to charity but at what rate do we decide to put prices up so much that the average person can go and buy something brand new... For cheaper than a used item from "value" village? It used to be a great place to find fairly priced second hand items. I no longer enjoy shopping here.

Clean store, busy but was able to manage around. Check out was quick, only found a few items I liked. Not a huge selection for home decor but great movies, old dvds and games, cute kids stuff.

I just can't stand this place ! Don't get me wrong I love a good thrift store like any other person but when you get your store supplied by donations your prices should reflect that . OK you have over head and God knows rents are crazy here in toronto but I still don't think there prices reflect there true value. If no customer you have no store . Stop putting time limit on donation discount cards ! That's just another one of my beefs !

Staff is great but head office needs to re-evaluate their pricing. I saw a Mary Kay bag (aka free gift with purchase) for $24.98......really???? People rely on Value Village for affordable gently used goods and this feel like insane price gauging.

Decent selection but as other have mentioned pricing needs to be evaluated. I purchased a top from the brand Aritzia for 8.99 but it had a hole in the sleeve. It should have been priced no more than $5 but because of the brand they charged more even though there was a noticeable hole. Most clothing items are 6.99+ and average around 8.99 or more tops.

This place had some great finds for me. It was pretty busy, but that is to be expected I guess for one of the few downtown locations they have. One thing that really bothered me to see was they separate items that clearly go together just to try and make more money. All the barbies are sold with no clothes and the clothes are sold separate, there were Trivia Pursuit special edition boxes of trivia cards separated from the special edition box with an outrageous price on the empty box. They already get their stock for practically next to nothing, it's shameful they try to squeeze extra money out of their donated items.

This was my first time visiting this store. I am an infrequent shopper at thrift stores but found this location to be of a decent size, clean and well organized. They even had a fairly decent section of electronics - which included chargers and cords.
