★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place a super cool shop absolutely packed with vintage and antique goods. The only thing keeping me from giving it a 5 star review is the space is a bit tight and if you have mobility restrictions of any kind, I doubt you'll be able to move around the store easily. Also, the prices are just too high. I would guess that the shop takes offers for their pieces, but the starting price on many (if not all) of the items made me uninterested even when I found something I really liked. Oh, and they sell real fur coats, lots of them. So, f you're ethically inclined to stay away from fur, then I would recommend you stay away from here. If you're looking for some nice vintage pieces and you're ready to drop some money and/or negotiate the prices, this place might be your heaven.

(However, if you use mobility aids, be aware that the space in the store is quite small and some of their stock is up stairs. The staff is super nice though and will help if you ask!)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Wow. Really a special place. Beautiful vintage clothing (purses, dresses, jackets, shoes, Hawaiian shirts, retro tees, hats, gloves, opera glasses??), high quality antiques and oddities. Charmingly organized. An absolute joy to spend time in this shop.

The employees are friendly and helpful.
There is an upstairs area also.
I would say this is the best vintage store in the east end and possibly the best in all of Toronto depending on what you’re looking for.
Prices are surprisingly affordable and they have pretty much everything.
If you’re looking for clothing for men or women, decorative items for your house, kitchen wares or other Knick-knacks, Gadabout Vintage has it!
