J	Jessica Wong on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We came here as part of a beer passport, and it was a pretty decent laid back atmosphere. The bartender was incredibly friendly, and super helpful. Food selection is rather sparse, but there is some. Cocktails are really good there as well. The only thing I didn't particularly enjoy was a sarcastic remark from someone who worked there as we were leaving - As we were doing a beer passport, we were going to multiple bars, and it seems she was bothered we left only after one drink (the place was empty), so for that it kind of ruined my experience.

The atmosphere is amazing and it's made me an even bigger fan of The Shining. I always go in with the intention of doing a "one-and-done" but because I love it in there so much it turns into much, much more. Don't waste anymore time debating a visit and get down there. Ryan will make your visit more than worthwhile. See you soon!

El Diablo was an amazing cocktail. With the jalapeño tequila and the salt rim, it had an intense flavor that I enjoyed slowly.

Server was fun and friendly and helpful. Loved the laid back vibe - the type of place you go to to have a few drinks and a relaxing night with your friends.
