About Plant
After a successful trial in Red Deer, Plant joined Market Collective and found a whole community of support. They attended markets all over Alberta and Saskatchewan, constructing a frequently expanding product line from their tiny 650 square foot home. After a busy holiday season in 2013, it became clear that the living room was not an optimal studio, so the hunt for a space began.
Plant’s brick-and-mortar shop opened in March 2014 in a 1000 square foot space in Inglewood. Originally fuelled by Kyle and Erika with occasional free labour from friends and family, Plant now employs a large team of talented and dedicated staff. Plant also secured its dream space in 2016: a converted garage with 3000 square feet of usable space in one of Canada’s best neighborhoods. With a continually-expanding product line, partnerships with local and international makers, artists, and craftspeople, Plant is known for offering unique, well-curated selection of products and designs, and friendly, approachable customer service.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I really enjoy going to this store. The staff are friendly and are very helpful. They also have friendly dogs roaming around the store. They also have really good costumer service if you ever run into any issues :)
The store is very tidy and organized. They have have a lot of selections for their plants and beautiful pots! If you are lucky, you can even purchase rare plants at a very reasonable price.
I have never had any issue with all the plants that I have purchased from this store. The plants continues to thrive at home.
In regards to their response to the pandemic, this store has limited capacity. You dont usually have to wait on weekdays but on weekends it can be a bit of a wait. They have a staff member at the door to provide you sanitized baskets. They promote good hand hygiene, social distancing, and masks are mandatory in the store.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Plant has great pots, macrame pot hangars and beautiful plants. Possibly the supply chain issues explain why at times they seem lacking. The store is always busy so it can be impossible to get any help or expertise. I do love the store but have given a low rating because there return policy is terrible. I bought a pot there which was too big for where I need it. Had they ever any staff available maybe I would have known that eventually they will have a smaller size. Printing the refund policy on the receipt does a world of good - sarcasm - as at that point you already have my money. Garden Retreat is a great option for beautiful plants and a much better return policy. I worked in retail for many many years so I hate returning things but I hate much more a ridiculous policy of we only give a store credit.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ THEY HAVE EVERYTHING when it comes to plant. It’s really a one-stop store for all your plant needs, from clay pots, pebbles, soils, mosses, seeds, and different kinds of indoor/outdoor plants! Staff were great and always ready to help with your inquiries.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Lovely space and shopping experience at aptly named Plant! Such serene and beautiful space out front and when you walk in you are greeted by tons of beautiful plants! What I enjoy the most is that there are so many smaller and more space efficient ? options around. So you can turn a small space or a room into your own oasis or sanctuary! And you can easily transport them! Love the DIY kits and decorative pieces too. Dried plants and also fresh cuts were available, truly enjoyable!
