Plant Plant is a combination studio, design, and production space, with a store front that we hope will inspire you to bring a playful spirit to your plant parenting indoors and out! It’s where we’ll generate our newest ideas and pass them on to you. Keep your eyes on this space for more details!

Why Plant Plant?
Besides the joy its silliness brings us, Plant Plant is so-called because we are located in an old foundry building, or plant if you will, and we will call on that history in the spirit of industriousness, innovation, and production.
Secondly, plants adapt to the conditions you plant them in; same goes with a planted Plant – some things will be recognizable and others will be new and unexpected, and the evolution is part of the fun.
Third: Saying Plant Plant is a step towards semantic satiation – or words rendered meaningless sounds by virtue of repeating them so many times (maybe you’ve reached it already!) If the word or name Plant loses its meaning, it gives us a chance to redefine it however we want.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I was so excited to check this space out!! And it was even cooler then I thought!!! Beautiful store and really nice staff. I got a ton of annual outdoor plants and herbs! I thought the prices were great, plus I didn’t have to deal with any of those huge garden centre crowds!!! Love it! Would highly recommend!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Was underwhelmed when I came in, plants did not look up to par and alot seemed to have a combo of over & under watering - apart from that, we had to seek out staff for questions and only one lady was really willing to answer all my questions but the others were very sales driven and seemed bothered by my wanting to see a plant up on a shelf, I decided against it when I saw how many dead leaves were pulled off before being brought to show us. Prices are not bad and maybe I caught them on an off day but would be weary of having them repot any of your plants as I personally found their potting methods a little risky especially for beginners. We got a couple beautiful plants and I dont think they are awful but I am weary of their plant care and advice.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very helpful for a newbie to live plants. I got sorted with exactly what I needed. I also asked if I could pay them to pot some plants I just picked up from Ikea. They obliged and didn't charge me anything. Great service and nice touch at the end of the experience!

Was checking out and waited at the check out counter, they saw us standing there but didn't come to assist, had to call them to let them know. Then when one of them came, the phone rang, picked it up, didn't put the caller on hold to finish checking us out, tried to multi-task by talking continuously to the caller and point us the screen and the machine. No apologies, no thank you. First time to come here to shop and will be the last.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Really pretty shop full of gorgeous plants & accoutrements. It was really quiet when we were in, and it is such a pleasant shop for a peaceful wander through to look at everything. The girls were kind and helpful (but left us to do our thing, which I like). I would definitely recommend and will be visiting again! And if you're on the hunt for some BIG plants, this is the place for you - there's plenty of all sizes though.
