★ ★ ★ ★ ★ not sure how it has such good reviews, no grill for the chicken and beef as the dedicated microwaver puts servings of meat in the microwave. Chicken shawarma does not even use shawarma chicken and pita does not even get heated up. Was cold and by far the most expensive shawarma I have ever purcharsed by farm, paid the same amount as a plate in Toronto.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Unfortunately disappointed. The chicken shawarma is not shawarma- it’s microwaved, dry, unseasoned, shredded chicken. There was barely any sauce to salvage it, and they missed some of the sauces and the feta I paid extra for. 2-stars for large portion and well packed.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Pita Deli has been my go to spot in Whitby for 10 plus years. I moved from Whitby but make it a point whenever I visit to make a stop for a pita. Always delicious, consistent and excellent customer service!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Awsome flavours! Generous portions with fair prices! Friendly fast customer service! Our favorites the are the Chicken & Garlic Pitas, Chicken Ceasar Pitas and the Chicken Shawarma Pitas. Highly recommend giving Pita Deli a try. We've never been disappointed.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Have been looking for a decent pita place. This location is really worth it. Tried their chicken shawarma, along with chicken and garlic pita’s. It was so tasteful experience with their in house hot sauce. Will visit again.

Food is half decent but what made me write this review is that for longest time, I been getting charged extra for garlic sauce when it should be included in the order. I have always ordered the “chicken Garlic wrap” and for some odd reason, they always charged me extra. One time I mentioned that they charged me extra and refunded me right away. I thought this was just a one time mistake but I checked back on my statements, they still charged me extra $. Please ask for register receipt as it will indicate what you were charged for.
Not happy about this, and I wonder how many others are charged without noticing.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Not sure how this place is rated a 4.8. Came here yesterday for lunch based on the good reviews. There was a pretty long line to get in and big writing on the front that said “freshly made pita”. All signs were looking positive until I saw chef Mike working behind the counter (a.k.a microwave). Then I noticed that the “freshly made pita” statement was also false as the pitas used are clearly pre made in plastic bags. The sauces and toppings were half decent, but the “beef shawarma”, despite being nuked in a microwave, was still stone cold and pretty disgusting. To make matters worse, they don’t even warm the pita bread, so everything was just cold. Such a shame, clearly very very hard working people, very nice, polite and welcoming. Im really sorry to say, but a place where chef Mike is the busiest team member results in some pretty bad food and not deserving of a high rating.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Delicious pita! Found this place when looking for a quick bite off the Hwy and so glad we stopped in. Best shawarma I've had. Generous portions too, it had some weight to it! Extremely friendly staff and very efficient. First time and would definitely go back if I'm ever in the area.
