Conroy’s No Frills

Not as big as many other no frill stores but non the less it was fully stocked , very clean and spacious aisles and clean quality produce. No frills to me is the lowest priced grocery store around.

If there was less stars I'd choose that option. I stopped at this location on my way home from work in the morning today . The first thing as I came to the front doors was a sign that stated " 1 student at a time " As a parent of students, who are well behaved, kind and can't imagine they couldn't go in a grocery store together .... I find the sign very frustrating. I assumed they had had some issues in the past, hence the sign. I asked the manager about his sign , in which his first words to me were " WHO are YOU ?" I was a little taken aback by his demeanor. I told him I was a customer of students and I can understand that If he had had issues with students. In which he said" I DONT HAVE ISSUES WITH THEM " I then said I mean if maybe you had past issues of theft etc. He then said " DID YOU write to me on Facebook??? I said " no " HE then said " What , are you a teacher?? , I'll be calling the school then . I looked at him very puzzled. I asked him why he was being so intense . Although there may had been concerns, how is it ok to make a blanketed rule to students. He continued to get heated and told me I am " coming at him " I was not sure about this comment? I said I was very confused as to why he was responding in such a manner. He then said " YOU can leave, you go " So utterly bizarre. I then stated as he angrily walked away " if a few people from the Muslim community, or black community did a few things in his store can we then put a sign banning them too ?" He just huffed and puffed away. I asked the cashier his name , she said " oh ,I can't tell you that " So I looked him up . This was definitely the manager " Scotty Conroy" Pleaee consider getting some security to clear up your issue and maybe treat people with a bit more respect. Banning a group of people may not be your best action .

Horrible service sold me milk that was spoiled Bought it on the 15th bbd was the 20th .. I was to switch it for another milk the was reduce and the manager was was rude and disrespectful told me it's a reduce item and thats was i get. And the manafe came out with no mask and nosing running and cough so gross and ride. Be careful people

Quite possibly the rudest cashier I have ever come across. Spoke to the manager about her service and even the manager mentioned shes had complaints about this one cashier. All I asked is do you match Walmart pricing and she went off saying we only match if its on flipp. But the way she said that was exceptionally rude. Needless to say. We will not be shopping at this location any longer. This was our first and last visit to this location

Excellent staff, very professional yet friendly and courteous. Nicely arranged all the stuff which makes it easier for consumer to locate the items. Clean store and very well managed.

Smaller grocery store not far from our neighbourhood. Selection is reduced compared to bigger stores but that's expected. Great service and they do a good job keeping the lines moving.

I have compared this place with other nofrills. I found this place to be the best in price and deals. I have been shopping here for last three years and realized that owner/management of this place always try to give customers the best in promotions. Even though it is small and understandably cannot carry all the products, but whatever they have at whatever price, I buy with confidence here.

This was my first time shopping here. I could not be more impressed with this location. The store was easily accessable situated on a corner of two main streets in Whitby. The store itself was bright and kept very clean. The selections were better than other stores I have tried. And my cashier Wendy was awesome. She made me laugh and I enjoyed my time speaking with her. I will absolutely be a regular and loyal customer as this store has everything you could ask for. An update: I have continued to shop here and I am very happy with the selections and price. The staff continue to be helpful and polite. Great location.
