β β β β β NEW OWNERS from 5 star to 0 if I could give it. This used to be the best place for Δvarci and most smoked meats. Never and I mean never in the last 30 yrs we have been going there were bacon bits burnt now every single time they are black and smell like burnt grease. The lady just stands there blinking she has no product knowledge and I should have figured out something was wrong since the place is always empty even on Saturdays whereas before you couldn't get in. Just horrible so disappointed that an Edmonton staple is just gone with the old owners

β β β β β This guys have great food! Authentic smoked meats and sausages plus a lot of canned and dried goods. You can also buy prepared foods. Delicious every time!

β β β β β This place is absolutely amazing. The only joint where Iβm able to buy the charcuterie that Iβve grown up with and dry smoked meats that some dishes just canβt do without! The kifle bread rolls are delicious, the rendered bacon bits are addictive, and there is stock from Eastern Europe like PavloviΔ baby cream and herbal teas. If youβre lucky enough, youβll get your hands on some Kaiser bacon on Saturday morning.

The store itself is not big at all but they do offer nice Hungarian sausages and whatnot. Some authentic Hungarian baked goods that would make you feel like home, and they also have bogracs! Woo-hoo.
We couldn't grab one as our car was small, but we ordered via phone to be shipped to our home, and they were so accommodating.
