★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Went to go shopping didn't have a loonie for the cart, so went to customer service to try and buy a loonie with my bank card. Cutomer service said she can't do that. If you expect people to deposit a loonie for a cart you should be able to buy a loonie or provide something to eliminate the need for a loonie.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very unclean store. I was ordering from the deli and the employee waiting on me had just handled many packages of meet and also a cart and then sliced and touched y meat with the same gloves on? This is a blatant disregard for customer protection!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Last week, I bought dry cat food and when I came home, noticed that it had expired over one year (!!!) ago. So I went back to customer service and they told me to get another bag. When I took another bag from the shelf, I realized that this bag was also expired over a year ago. Customer service was very friendly and helpful dealing with this BUT I would like to CAUTION people to check expiry dates on their food items (same thing happened to me before when I bought a bag of brown rice and a health food supplement). Zero stars for selling expired products, 5 stars for the friendly staff at customer service.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Well stocked location with good parking. This superstore has abit of everything (grocery,pharmacy,home,party supplies,kids toys and clothing section). Still best to avoid busy times to avoid long check out lines.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Until you fix the no bag at self checkout issue I will rate all superstore 1 star. They all started doing it and it's annoying to need to go find an employee to get a bag and then pay a 1000% markup on it

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It’s unbelievable how bad this store is. Between cashiers who cannot count change, the dirtiness, and your groceries being unceremoniously thrown and destroyed in the self bagging area I’m not sure why anyone would shop here.
I understand that this must be a terrible place to work based on the looked on the dead eyed employees faces, but that doesn’t mean you destroy the flowers I bought to take to my sick mother by putting other heavy groceries on top of them and throw the prepared meal Id bought to eat on the conveyor belt, squishing it.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Legendary superstore of South Central EDM. Despite being across from the suspicious motels across gateway Blvd ( lock your vehicle here) this superstore is a great stop for pretty much anything you need grocery wise. Way better than Safeway, not as good as Costco overall but a great option.
The meat department is pretty clean and honestly they trim the meat good. Good quality too. Specifically the striploin steak, they don't leave an overly amount of fat on which they do at Costco.
The produce always got the reasonable price. International section has got a decent selection, could be better but not too bad in a pinch.
Liquor store is decent too but avoid the gas, unless you collect points.
Highly recommend.
