β β β β β this use to be my favorite place to eat however over the last year or so the quality of the food has dramatically gotten worse especially if your are picking up for take out. Examples include undercooked rice or its very dry, overcooked vegetables in stir fries, missing condiments even when requested. One time a ordered i cashew chicken and they missed the rice altogether. The micro salad they add on the plate is often past due and has started to rot. Its gotten to the point that the lunch group at work have taken Ben Thanh of the list. Too bad i really used to like it there.

β β β β β I went there another time, and this time I decide to order an non ice Thai milk tea. Seriously??? They only give me half the bottle! I would definitely write a complain letter about this.
The food is fine and vegetarian friendly. However the service is not pleasant and bubble tea is terrible, FULL of ice. The picture was taken after half an hour, and it is still a lot of ice. We couldnβt even taste the flavour.

β β β β β I love going to this place - theyβre super fast, and the food is good. People are complaining about service - but honestly, for how fast they usually are that doesnβt really matter, Iβve never really had a bad service experience here.
Only comment would be cleanliness - they arenβt terrible, it doesnβt stop me from going, but I think there could be improvements.

β β β β β Iβve always been happy with the high quality and authenticity. Better quality than cheep quality Chinese take-out places. Won Ton soup is large and can be shared. Itβs a little more expensive but Iβll pay for quality. Iβve always ordered takeout.

β β β β β Clearly customer service is not top priority. Very disappointed as I am a long time customer. Ordered online dumplings. It clearly state in noodle soup but you donβt get any noodles. ??ββοΈJust the the broth and dumplings. Paid an extra dollar to upside thinking more noodles but you get more broth. Very deceiving worded. Called back and was basically shrugged off.

β β β β β Ben Thanh at this location has consistently good takeout with a very delicious phα» broth. We have been ordering here for many years since we moved to Waterloo.
The restaurant has quite a selection of items of the phα» ΔαΊ·c biα»t is our go to. They always give a bunch of fresh herbs each time we order from here.

β β β β β I would like to share my very disappointing take out experience that I had last night (April 19, 2022). I had ordered sticky rice and as you can see by the picture attached, I could have played hockey with the rice puck. I also ordered the deep fried Vietnamese spring rolls and as you can see by my picture, the spring roll had melted through the Styrofoam container which is not edible as vomiting, nausea, headaches and diarrhoea are among the side effects of eating food products in slightly melted syrofoam.. I also ordered the green Curry vermicelli dish and the noodles were in one big clump. I used to love this restaurant but I will not be returning again.

β β β β β The stars just for wide sitting space, clean windows and wide varieties on the menu.
Service was poor first off all, very obvious they are not trained properly.
The food was ok, we got tomyum soup and shrimp fried rice. The soup was 7/10, and the fried rice was very disappointing because rice was undercooked, barely any shrimp, just bits and some pieces of squid.
Had to ask to change a set of cutlery because it has stains, plates were chipped.
Price was ok, quality and service not good.
