I went around 7pm and ordered a veggie fried rice, after waiting a bit the workers were yelling out an order, and no one seemed to be claiming it. A lady came out of the kitchen area and started screaming at the people waiting, and then she looked at me and was saying that it was mine. She was clearly very mad but I was confused because she wasn't saying fried rice, but an entirely different order. I took the order anyways because she was literally screaming and I left feeling embarrassed for being screamed at in front of the other people waiting. When I got home I was very disappointed because it wasn't fried rice but a pad see ew instead (which has chicken, when I originally ordered a vegetarian meal), but I remember the girl in front of me in line had ordered the pad see ew. This didn't really make sense since the girl before me had already gotten an order and left by time I was taking what was seemingly her real order. So I assume the orders got messed up, and someone probably got my order after I had left. I think it's overall a very avoidable situation since if the lady working wasn't screaming at us it would have been much easier to say something if wrong orders were being given out. The environment was so unwelcoming, and I'm disappointed because I really do like Thai express.

Kind of a busy location as many Uber Eats orders get filled here so if you are a walk-in you’ll be waiting a bit so order in advance! Their vegan pad thai is good, nice to watch them make it in front of you. The tofu is fried in the same oil as chicken so that’s a consideration if you’re getting that meal. Okay amount of parking. Around $12-13 for the pad thai.

I love this place. The food is very tasty and delicious. My recommendation will be only that when someone says medium spicy, just put a little bit of spicy sauce, not a bunch!!

Their chicken wings are the BEST I’ve ever had in Canada. I’ve become addicted to it, haha

I’ve never had to write a negative review before but never in my life have I been spoken to so rudely and disregarded the way the manager (lady with short hair) at this location did to me. 1 star is me being generous. Find another location with decent customer service

I usually get thai express in scarborough when i came to drop my sister off i went to get their beef basil fried rice to eat the rice was very wet and the beef in the rice was not cooked enough and has a strange egg texture and taste to it ended up throwing my food away but it could’ve been better.

I got takeout at Thai Express (on King) on a weekday for dinner and thankfully it wasn’t too busy. I’ve been trying to a go a few times but they were always closed, their hours are kind of weird so I hope they can update it on Google. My favourites from here are the Pad See Ew with beef ($14 after tax), that is what I got this time. As well as their Pad Thai and Basil Fried Rice. This location is the most consistent for me, their noodles are cooked well, their sauce isn’t too salty and their beef is tender. I’ve tried the Pad See Ew from the Fairview location before and it was drenched in sauce and was way too salty. The dish I had today was very good. Their portion size is pretty big even though it looks small in the container, they really pack it. It usually takes me two meals to finish one container. The person that served me was very nice and they finished cooking my food in less than 10 minutes. I stood there and waited, it’s always so fascinating how fast they are. This is just a side note but I think that oftentimes there is a language and cultural barrier/difference that can come across as rude in Western standards, but many traditional Asian restaurants have waiters that just don’t talk too much to you because they don’t know how to. And at times their tone can seem rougher when they are translating from Chinese to English. I understand that Thai Express is a chain so perhaps they should adapt more to Western standards, but I also hope that customers can keep this in mind and be a little gentler before jumping to anger. At the same time I am not dismissing those people that had a negative experience, the owners may not know how to communicate their emotions properly when they are frustrated/ when it gets busy so that is something they need to work on instead of taking it out on the customers. Overall, the food is good but there are definitely things to work on like their hours and customer service.
