★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Absolutely phenomenal. The last time I was lucky enough to have Uyghur cuisine was in China. We drove 1.5 hours just for this restaurant and it was beyond worth it. The food was to die for. The environment and hospitality was warm and inviting. Wow! Please give this place a try. You won’t regret it.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The food was fantastic. Handmade noodles, beautiful lamb/beef dishes, and I loved both salads we ordered (cucumber salad and “Uyghur salad”). The owner was kind and I was really glad to speak with her after our meal. Looking forward to exploring the menu further!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Amazing hospitality, amazing food. My friend and I arrived 20 minutes before closing, dine in wasn't open and being as hungry as we were, we decided to eat outside. The boss overheard and after confirming our intentions, opened up a table for us. There weren't glasses available so instead he gave us a couple cokes. On top of it all he even gave us extra portions because of how hungry we were. The food itself was hearty and delicious- I've never had such fall off the bone chicken before. Definitely a must go if you want something hearty and filling.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The owner of this place is extremely kind! We were visiting a friend in the area and restrictions had just lifted to eating outside only. This place admittedly didn’t have outdoor seating but we heard so many good things about this place that we had to try the food.
We got the dumplings, kebab and a noodle dish that they had recommended and the food was FANTASTIC. Obviously we got takeout but the owner did one step and above and told us we could take some chairs from the restaurant and one of their tables outside! He helped us carry everything outside and got us little black containers to use as bowls. The icing on the top of the cake was that he gave us all a water bottle each. It was boiling hot that day and we couldn’t be more grateful.
Thank you Bogda Restaurant for showing us kindness and compassion!! You folks are the best and the food is sooo good. Anyone visiting Waterloo, please check them out!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Pretty good! Got 3 M7 Bogda Laghmans and the V6 Koktat Laghman. Apparently, the noodles can get pretty spicy (although that wasn't our experience) so if you don't tolerate spice well, you can ask for no spice. It's pretty filling and got a little greasy at the bottom of the bowl but overall, a positive experience.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very nice and authentic Uygur Restaurant. Their mains' portion is big, and you can definitely eat enough. They cook everything on spot so the BBQ skewer might take a long time to wait. Also their dishes are somehow spicy, if you are afraid of spicy, avoid eating the chilies and pick them out.
