I had a fantastic experience, I was checked out by Kristine they were super excited and friendly it was nice that they seemed to genuinely enjoy checking out my items. Usually when I visit a pet store it always feels a little uncomfortable or too inconvenient for them to ring in my purchase but today was a nice experience. Thank you ?

Good location with nice collection and enough stock for everything. Have to especially mention the wonderful staff there. They were truly helpful and were ready to go with me and find each and everything thing in my list.

Brought our dog in for grooming. Megan was our stylist. She was AMAZING!!!! She was friendly and kind. We own a Bichon and most stylist don't know how to cut their hair. Megan said she knew how to cut a Bichon, and she did not disappoint. Thanks so much Megan!!!! Simon looks great!!

Have been taking our 1st dog for grooming here for the last year without any issues, until recently. After getting a second dog we were informed of policy changes and our new puppy couldn't get a cut until their 3rd visit. Meanwhile her coat is too long, it's getting knots even with regular brushing and she overheats. And we're supposed to wait until a 3rd visit to address these issues with a cut?!?! I don't think so. First of all, we were not informed of any policy changes and we go there regularly. I even put notice on our puppy's online appointment scheduling that it was her first cut; we found out the moment we bring her in that she can't get a cut that day?!?! Ridiculous! We didn't have to deal with this with our first dog, if we did then we would have been better prepared. Second the person we spoke with was condescending, had a polite bitchie undertone and gave us the only option to trim the hair out of our puppy's eyes and trim her feet. We had no choice but to accept because our puppy needed it. Well, the same person did a terrible job on trimming the hair on our puppy's face!!! We feel it was out of retaliation due to our disappoint with their lack of organization and unprofessionalism. We even remained polite and respectful because we knew a bad attitude would effect the trimming quality our puppy would get. We did voice that we were disappointed with this last second change of plans which left us stuck finding a last minute replacement groomer. People were asking who did the terrible job on her face trimming.... yes, it was that bad and noticeable. If this employee thinks it ok to perform their responsibility like this, then I truly have to question how well they treat our pets when in their care. Regardless PetSmart grooming has lost all of our business, we feel it's better to bring our dogs to a groomer who cares and provides crucial information in timely matter.

The grooming salon is very prejudiced against some dog breeds. Though our German Shepard was completely calm and had never bitten anyone before, the groomer kept saying “he’s going to bite me” under her breath. Previously the nail cutting job was poor each time , or it was barely done at all.

Due to a family emergency, I am staying with my Dad in Waterloo. I can’t get to my usual groomer, so went to PetSmart. They took him in immediately, and he was finished quickly. No crying, no complaining, and she was very sweet. I may switch!

Good customer service and everything you can find for your pets ?

The staff is very helpful and you can tell that they care about the animals in the store. When we went to pick up our leopard gecko, the staff member who helped us was probably more excited than we were. She took the time to answer all our questions and spoke about all the reptiles that she has had, giving us suggestions and advice to get us started. The store is clean and organized, so it's easy to find what you're looking for. Their return policy is fantastic, and you never have to worry about being given a hard time if you bought the wrong thing or your pet didn't like something you tried. There is also lots of parking and it's at a main intersection, so it's easy to get to. I'm happy to return here for any of my pet's needs.
