Chuck's Roadhouse Bar & Grill

Brought my family (group of 10) to celebrate a bday. We were greeted by a friendly host who seated us right away. We ordered nachos, loaded cheese fries and wings, rings and chicken fingers to start and a ton of dishes from the dinner menu and pleased with every dish. Steaks were done as requested and food came out in good time. I ordered the chicken Parm and my partner ordered steak and lobsters, both were delicious. We ordered doubles of the desserts as well and the kids loved them. Definitely going again real soon.

Very good place to hang around with your friends. The steak prices are very reasonable, although I would recommend taking mushrooms and something juicy as a side dish with the steak. The atmosphere is quite vibrant, which is further made lively by 50% discount on appetizers after 9pm.

Out of all franchises in the area this one has decent quality steaks, service was great too. Unfortunately one of our steaks came out well done instead of medium hence 4 star. But, still, other 2 franchises in Kitchener and Cambridge were far worse. Also steaks are unbelievably inexpensive but that’s true for every restaurant in the chain.

Went for dinner the other night ordered a large ceaser salad to share and 2 meals, 2 mixed drinks and a beer. Can't beat the price $50 for everything including tax honestly can't go wrong and $4 pints during the leafs games you can't go anywhere else for that price. Food was hot and tasty drinks were cold. Service was okay but overall definitely going back again.

The hamburgers were delicious and reasonably priced. After 9:00 pm they have half off appetizers! Loved it! Dessert was surprisingly good!

Absolutely NOT what I or my friend were expecting. We came here for dinner around 7:00. The place wasn't too busy but wasn't dead either. We were seated on the patio in the corner table. We requested the bar menus because we wanted to get a drink before dinner. We were taking some pictures so we had time stamps. After about 25 minutes of waiting are waitress brought the bar menu over. By that time we have had plenty of time to look at our menus and decide what we wanted to eat. She came over and dropped the bar menu and ran away before we could even ask her if we could order food. No joke 35 minutes later I actually called using their phone number on their website and ask them if we could order food. We ordered fish and chips matzah sticks nachos and I ordered a 20 oz porterhouse (T Bone) rare. Are beer came out relatively quick compared to waiting for the menus and ordering, still a little slow if you ask me. She brought our my steak and went back and get my friend's food and in the meantime I cut into it, unfortunately the steak was medium to medium-well done. I'm not really picky but when the waitress came back and saw that the cook on the steak was wrong she didn't even question it she took the plate and got the kitchen to make a new one. I was absolutely shocked when a little man in a black dress shirt and pants came up to me and tried to explain to me that my steak was actually rare and not medium well to well done. He brought a pamphlet to show me the differences, and I showed him the picture that I took of the steak which is attached to this, I asked him if it was pink enough to be rare. And excuse after excuse after excuse he basically told me that I was wrong. Since I have cooked hundreds of steaks in different restaurants. I legitimately had to explain to him how to cook the steak. Our waitress was super apologetic about it and even offered to remove it from my bill. They brought out a new steak that was basically blue, but honestly I'd rather have a Blue stake than an overcooked steak. It was 9:00 and we are basically finished our food and we waited for the waitress to come by for our check...waited another 15 minutes, we paid and left. Honestly probably the worst experience I have had at a chucks.

I was pretty disappointed with the quality and portion size considering the price. I got the spinach dip, fish and chips, and potato skins. Paid $15 for 4 potato skins... The food was mediocre. There are plenty of better restaurants with the same stuff.

Will not be coming back here. Disappointed by several things: 1. Condiment containers were dirty 2. Food serving size were very small 3. Beer contained lemon seed - suggests glass was not cleaned properly 4. There seems to be a shortage of jalapenos - a plate of nachos contained only three 5. Service was not great 6. Dude on the table next to us refused to play for his meal as it contained someone's hair 7. Sitting on the patio is nice enough but Ira Needles is just a noisy racetrack Would not recommend this
