★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is the worst chicken I've ever had in my life. The chicken is not crispy at all - it's hardly cooked. The tenders taste like they were left on the freezer 10 years ago. Even the fries are undercooked and hardly seasoned. I genuinely have a hard time believing any review higher than one star is real.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The worst chicken one can ever eat. The chicken was drenched in salt, oily (not at all eatable) and was not properly cooked (from inside). The cookie was completely burnt. Pathetic food. Would never recommend this restaurant to anyone.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Best friend chicken to eat around Waterloo. Clearly the reviews are hit or miss. Maybe the difference is who is working or eating that shift. But mine was soon good ! Crispy skin, juicy meat, perfect seasoning. The fries were basic nothing special.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Update: Star reduced due to burger bun and beef patty quality and the way how it wrapped inside aluminum wrapper. Burger beef patty lost the taste and size and wrapping hot burgers inside aluminum made the buns soggy.
Rooster chicken burger is now hit and miss, sometimes it tastes best and properly cooked and sometimes very chewy.
Fried Chicken are still in good quality and taste.
4/5 #halal everything is halal (beef , chicken and poutine gravy). Budget Deals everyday. Delicious juicy tender fried chicken. Scrumptious burgers. Highly recommend to try this out. I had Spicy Rooster Chicken burger, Rooster Deluxe and Beef Deluxe Burgers, all of them are flavorful even the spicy fried chicken fully marinated with spices. Must try hot apple pie and mashed potatoes in sides.
Definitely better healthier option than Church Chicken as the batter of this fried chicken is different (no triple dipping I guess). Less oily and greasy than Popeyes.
Prices are very reasonable for all menu items apart from everyday deals.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Wasn't too bad. Prices are pretty good. 4 piece chicken combo for $11 including tax. If you're a student near UW it's not a bad place for a quick lunch (better than a $9 BLT from Tim Hortons). The chicken was alright.
For me 4/5 stars is above-average food. For me this place felt like another average fried chicken shop like Popeyes.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Got the Burger? and Fried Chicken Sandwich? and all I can say is the sandwiches were just sad. The Bun was pretty soggy. Nothing special about the patty. The fried chicken sandwich, the chicken patty was not crispy at all.
But even when you consider everything as a whole and factor in the price, I would not come here for the burgers. Better alternatives out there for the same price point.
Personally, I wouldn't come back here or recommend to a friend. I might come back to try the fried chicken itself but that's it.
