★ ★ ★ ★ ★ ordered a product online and and then went around the store, i waited about 10 min to be helped whilst the staff at the front just talked as i was staring at them with no acknowledgement until i walked up myself .
The first paragraph is from months ago, this is recent as i cant figure out how to post another review on here. Yesterday I was here again to get fish as the coquitlam store didnt have what I was lookig for (African Cichlids). The girl working in the fish area was not trained for the pets and had no idea about fish, tank size species nothing I have a great deal of knowledge on fish as I have been a hobbyist for years as well as breeding experience so i was helping their clients with info !!!! . She was very very nice and this review is not to put her down as she was very friendly and tried her hardest and im thankfukl for her help. However this is to tell the store manager to train your staff better and be aware of this issue as these are LIVE animals we are talking about here!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Highly recommend training at this location! Alyssa is absolutely amazing (I call her Aunty Alyssa the dog whisperer) ? she is so patient and give great feedback to help in your dog journey. I have had the privilege to do all offerings with Alyssa. Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced, Brain games and Therapy classes! It's alot of work and dedication but so fun and Alyssa is great! I wish there was more offerings even if it was different brain games opportunities. That was alot of fun! Thank you so much and if you are hesitant, don't be! You'll be so happy you tried at the very least?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Since getting a dog we have been going to one or two PetSmarts and this one has been great as we have used their puppy training classes. If anyone who just got themsevles a puppy needs guideance then going here is the first step!
The people that work there are also very helpful and informative, so even if your not going their for training, popping in for food, treats or toys then you cant go wrong!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I liked this place I brought my nephew just to see the animals they have rlly cute hamsters. And a variety of them actually I thought they would only have fish and lizards but they had birds hamsters sometimes cats. Their employees were kind too. Their hours r good too

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Love that they put cats for adoption here from CTRS rescue. We adopted both of our cats here. Also, they have a good selection of cat food. A bit pricey for other pet accessories but good in a pinch.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Fantastic store, employees are very thorough and go above and beyond, groomer Merissa is the best groomer in the lower mainland (you can easily tell why when you book with her). Management is great and it is easy to feel attended to in this store. Also well organized. Definitely better then other store locations!
