★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Tried Popeyes for the first time and it did not disappoint. This location was clean and well maintained. Staff were friendly and service was great. Food was hot and fresh and delicious! Definitely recommend!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Popeye's came highly recommended so we were expecting good things. The food came fast and the restaurant was very clean. My real complaint is with the pop fountain machine. The fountain drinks were undrinkable.
We mentioned it to the staff but my feeling is that they were so busy fulfilling food orders they had no time to fix it.
So really a combo for us wasn't really a combo as the drinks were horrible.
Food was very good though so well done and I'm glad to see this restaurant was as busy as as it was.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Their beans and rice are so flavourful. And the chicken sandwich Mmmm….You probably have never tried this juicy piece of meat which is so crunchy from outside. With this amazing sauce it comes with . All the Hype is right and for 6 bucks you can’t beat it . Popcorn shrimps are very popular in my kids . Lots of space to dine in . And a good location for parking too. It is a little busy but only beacuse they make it fresh.
The bathroom are pretty clean and big too

- I placed an online order: Spicy Deluxe Chicken sandwich Combo, Dasani water, rice & beans, add on sauces
I was extremely perplexed to find out while eating that the sandwich lacks cheese and tomato. I reported this to the cashier/ order taker. Strangely I was informed that they:
- are out of tomatoes
- and that “they never add cheese in any of their sandwiches.”
I was taken aback, as to why an establishment would blatantly and boldly market something which they don’t offer, especially when a franchise is expected to follow the ‘recipe’ down to the E.
As a customer, I’d have genuinely appreciated if I was informed and asked for an alternative — which didn’t quite happen. In fact, after expressing disappointment — there was no effort to offer an alternative choice of food or a refund.
In retrospect, I find it quite interesting when a franchise establishment chooses to bypass adding a cheese/ and-or a tomato? (Read optimize the cost) — now presuming they sell a 1000 units/ day, that’s a significant unethical cost saving in terms of cost of cheese, at the cost of a customers trust)
On a different note, my original online order had sauces, however I was told that we don’t offer sauces as a part of the order. After reporting that my order includes it, they quickly Obliged. Stellar Negligence.

Here’s why:
Having tried Popeye’s burgers in their original outlet in New Orleans, Louisiana - I was pretty disappointed with their quality of the filet, fries, and the bun.
Notice the bun quality in the marketing - menu pictures and the actual pic. Quite appaling! The bun looks dead.
The filet was salty & a piece of oily disgust.
Well, I wouldn’t recommend wasting your $ here, as there are far better burgers + fries + meal offerings in & around PoCo.

A Southern Style Fried Chicken place.
Offers have new items every now and then, which is a nice thing to see..
They do offer seafood ? worth a try..
Add the popcorn ? to any combo to get a good deal!
Comments:
Lunch line ups average 7-9 minutes.
Food quality: always served warm. The food definitely needs to be hotter. Maybe if the service was quicker the food wouldn't be cold.
Visited multiple times have found this comment to be consistent.
