★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Quite disappointed when I wished to buy some cat litter. Almost none in the store at all. When I went to ask for help, there were two people in line and the clerk picked up a phone call and let us stand and wait. After 5 minutes of the clerk ignoring us, two of us walked out. IMO the customer service and in-store stock both were sub=par. I found another independent pet shop and will go their henceforth.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Made the effort to go out of my way to 'shop local' by stopping in at Korna's Coquitlam location to pick up a dog bed which was already priced more than double for a comparable item at their nearest competitor. Item was posted on their website for $199.99, but was tagged $204.99 in the store - I asked the clerk if the Manager would honour the posted price. Manager would not honour the posted price. Suffice to say, I did not complete my purchase and I will opt to shop at a more ethical company with better customer service.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Best place to get raw food for your pets. They have a pretty decent reward program. Your pet usually gets a free food cake on their birthday. Staff is always helpful and welcoming. They are mostly dog and cat oriented, but they do carry some bird, rodent, and fish supplies as well. Our dog has been eating food from here for most of her life. She is a good weight, healthy and always excited for her next meal.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The best pet store in Coquitlam! Staff are stellar . Extremely friendly/kind and our shy rescue dog Rookie is always happy to go in and see the employees. Has been amazing for his confidence with people. They have wide selection of quality treats and natural foods as well. Love coming here.

2022-06-08 update: got a completely unexpected greeting card in my mailbox today from an associate I met when I brought Pixie in with me to buy some treats and toys! Was very surprised at the gesture as it was personalized and seemed very sincere ? it was great to meet you too, Jessica!
