A	Avery WA on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I’m sitting here in severe pain for 5 hours. I don’t mind waiting however it’s terrible not giving the pain killers to me after I remind them for three time! They always said they are working on your case. I cannot give you until doctor see you. Why let people waiting in pain for hours?!! It’s against humanity! Still waiting……..
D	Dalana MCaren on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The way the new ER is run is very tedious. I had to sit in an uncomfortable hospital wheelchair for 9 hours. ( it was an unbusy time when the ambulance delivered me) (also you don’t get to rest in a bed ~ I’m in my 80’s in terrible pain especially when sitting) no staff talk to you ~ just robots rushing around . They just started performing all sorts of tests BEFORE I got to speak to a doctor ! That is a reverse of what it used to be. Supposedly this is streamlining. But the patient winds up the loser.

NOT our experience at all, especially on Halloween and anyone would have expected the staff to be overwhelmed and on edge. My wife had a bad fall and injured her shoulder, the front end staff got us checked in and the triage nurse took all the details. The total time from check in, initial X-rays, consult with Dr. Hendry to a second round of X-rays followed up with Nurse Patricia in the Cast Room fitting her arm and shoulder brace was only 2 hours... How can anyone expect more than that. My wife was diagnosed with a Proximal Humerus Head Fracture in her shoulder, we left with really good advise, some pain medication and an appointment with an Orthopedic Surgeon at the hospital within a week, REALLY with in a week!!! How Great. The x-ray technician was kind and gentle and Nurse Patricia was warm and empathetic. J	Judy L on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 20 years this place did absolutely NO improvements with staffing and their efficiency. 3.5+hrs waiting with tonsil inflammation, sore throat & difficult breathing. Took 1 whole hour to get blood, another hour to wait for result and 1.5 hour ago we were led by a nurse to a room and told us to wait for the doctor, which later on we were asked to leave by a staff and a nurse saying that's an examination room not a waiting room-- how are we supposed to know? Getting the attitude we shouldn't get. And the staff even said we could leave if we like, as if we're only here to waste our time -- talk about working in a medical field, and the ethics!!

I had no idea how broken our health care system is that I had to wait 6 1/2 hours the 1st time to talk to a doctor for 10 minutes and then 4 1/2 hours the 2nd time to talk to a doctor for 5 minutes and just recently today another 5 hours to talk to a doctor who I don't know why, but just doesn't understand that I'm telling her I'm in acute pain. They keep prescribing me things that are about as strong as a baby aspirin and I'm in such severe pain. They will not give narcotics, it's just unbelievable to me. I would avoid it if I was you
J	Jeff Smith on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Amazing and caring staff took care of me from ER to Medical Imaging to Surgery and Recovery. Wait times were very reasonable compared to my experiences at other hospitals. New surgical ward is state of the art. Im only ever going here now.

The beautiful Triage Nurse who booked me in, looked me in the eye and comforted me with the words, "one step at a time" and I can't tell you how this set my mind at ease. Nurse Jamie in the ER was calm and attentive, I know how challenging your job must be but you do it with much grace. Thank you!
A	Alta Alta on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A hospital emergency room is one of the last places you would choose to go, but when you need one, this is a good one. The person in charge of triage in emergency admitting was helpful, efficient, considerate, & very real, despite having what must be a high-stress job. The doctor was capable, knowledgeable, & had a sense of humor -- something rare in these settings. Be prepared to wait, especially if what you are there for is not a life-or-death immediacy, since they will look after those situations first, as they should.
