★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Best emergency room experience I've dealt with, which is amazing considering the times. My mother was a terminal cancer patient and I've been in emergency rooms over 50 times and I have to say the staff at st.mount Joseph are incredible.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Not only were they efficient, often being attended to by multiple caretakers and had multiple visits with the doctor, everyone had an amazing bedside manner. They were polite, sympathetic, understanding, and respectful.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My first and so far only ER admission was here, and it was a surprisingly positive healthcare experience. Wait time was short (with the obvious caveat that things may vary depending on how busy they are and what your condition is but they run triage very efficiently). Nurses are friendly and helpful. Doctors are attentive listeners, take the time to explain what's going on, and extremely thorough in their consults, testing, diagnosis, and scheduling of follow-up appointments. As far as ER experiences go (no one wants to have them but sometimes one needs to have them), I would highly recommend Mount Saint Joseph.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Wonderful staff! All members are efficient and willing to help. Doctors are informative and speedy in test requests and followup needs. Nurses are helpful and attentive to the needs of clients with a general sweet sense of humor to ease the stress of hospital stays. Thank you is not enough to say, for all they do. Great team!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Given my employment, social life and choice of sports activities - it would be quicker and easier to list the wounds and injuries I HAVEN'T had - I've become somewhat of a connoisseur of Emergency Rooms.
These People Are Good At What They Do: they are efficient and quietly and manifestly competent, and they have my full confidence.
When next I break something, have a hole put into or through me, or become host to an uninvited and loathsome pathogen it is to Mount Saint Joe's that I shall turn.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Best ER I have ever visited! I came here after a terrible experience at Burnaby hospital the day before where the staff was dismissive and the environment was filthy. The reviews at Mount Saint Joseph were the best, so I decided to give it another shot here.
I never thought a hospital emergency department could be an enjoyable place to be, but Mount Saint Joseph Hospital proved me wrong!
There was a happy buzz the moment I walked in.
The nurses, doctors, and staff seem to like their jobs and their patients. Every single member of staff I engaged with greeted me with a smile, and seemed to genuinely care about my issue. They came and checked on me regularly, made sure I was comfortable.
The doctor made sure I got the ultrasound I asked for even thought the technicians were off duty after 5, so I got the Radiologist (doctor) to do mine.
They have set me up with a follow-up visit with their gynaecologist since I don't have a family doctor.
In addition to the doctor, I had 2 nurses and the student doc check in on me before leaving to go over my test results the next steps
Short wait times, clean environment, wonderful staff, and an overall phenomenal experience. Thank you!
