I've been attending this clinic for the last 8 months as a patient of Dr. Lasner and have had nothing but fantastic encounters with him and his super pretty assistant. He's caring, listens and tries to relate to his patient. I can truely say from the bottom of my heart, he only wants to help and has absolutely changed my life for the better. Seriously, thank you Dr. Lasner

The front receptionist rude and short. To clients, let alone the doctors in this place. Avoid at all costs might be close to a hospital but 3rd world treatment. Hang on scratch that I have seen better doctors in a 3rd world country.

Dr. Lasnar took us as patients when we couldn’t find a family doctor and has been amazing ever since .My family and I highly recommend Dr.Lasner.

After being quite active in helping my wife recover from a significant car accident, I can say without a shadow of a doubt that Dr. Lasner is an angry, passive aggressive /actively aggressive,short fused, and irresponsible doctor. Avoid him at all cost if you need your doctor to aid you in figuring out your medical issues. His words and tone indicate that he clearly does not have any concern for her physical and mental health. Tbh, I wouldn’t be surprised if I found out his medical license was under review or revoked. Rude, disrespectful, unhelpful, and just plain mean. I listened on speaker as she tried to discuss her reason for leaving him as her family doctor, and he refused to validate her experience from the last few years, and insulted/humiliated her, as he often has in previous appointments. She’s asked him to speak with sensitivity regarding her mental health issues (which she has been relying on him to help figure out) but he’s been cruel, short, insulting, mean, and ineffective (eg. Not calling in prescriptions or getting the doses wrong, not believing her symptoms, ranting about the medical system, not helping her find and/or refer her to specialists, etc. She has done her best in these appointments, given the circumstance of her relying on a bully to help her, and has tried to stay logical and calm whenever possible, but he cannot handle any feedback without letting his ego and defensiveness knock her down. I rarely write reviews but I owe it to her and I to help prevent other people from finding themselves without care or concern when they need it most. We are kicking ourselves for not jumping ship sooner and now being this far behind in her treatment.

I don't normally weigh in on these reviews due to patient confidentiality. But Steve Bays, I've never met you nor do I know you. I'm not sure who your wife is but I apologize if we never saw eye-to-eye. In most cases there's always a bigger story behind this. We treat our patients with respect, integrity, and practice medicine to the highest standards, there is an odd time there is a disagreement. And this is usually as in the case of narcotic, benzodiazepine , or stimulant management where our Clinic follows strict rules set out by the CPSBC. Steve Bays, shame on you. Again I have never met you, we have never had a conversation about medicine, we have never talked about life, politics, religion, or had a laugh together, and we don't share the sorrows in our lives. I think without knowing anything about me personally, not knowing my family, parents or kids, I think it's cheap, disrespectful and defamatory for you to post something so personally. Speaking on behalf of all the Physicians here I believe they all have the highest integrity, have great knowledge of Medicine and practice ethically. When there are differences in opinions we try to work things out professionally, the odd time, we have to separate the Doctor patient relationship if someone can become abusive to the front desk, or to ourselves. This process is not taken lightly and goes through a vetted process and according to the CPSBC guidelines. We think our front desk staff is amazing, they're overworked and short-staffed. We do love our patients, respect their needs and enjoy getting to know them, not only medically but as people. As we are all just people behind our badges, we don't demand, but truly appreciate kind souls and the odd thank you. Respectfully David Lasner MD

Dr. Lasner is the most amazing and thoughtful doctor I have ever met . He is very passionate about his patients and his job . He treats our family with respect and kindness . We have finally found our doctor and we are going nowhere until he retires . Thank you for your service Dr. Lasner .

I went to pick a ct-scan for my wife. She has very aggressive cancer. The receptionist was rude and abrupt. She didn't even acknowledge me, or even look at me. She handed me the ct-scan without even a glance. I was very grieved about this. My wife is dying and this is a very upsetting time for us. A little bit of grace and kindness would have been welcome.

I have so much respect for Dr Tiwana. He is very patient and caring. My husband and I are very lucky to have him as our family doctor. Even though the phone service is not the best at times. At least we know we have a good dr and that makes it worth awhile.
