★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I arrived at 8:35 AM for Walk in to give my passport application since it's urgent and there are no appointments available online. Left the Office at 4pm with no service as the service was slow and lines were as if I was waiting for a Wonderland ride. This type of service is what you expect from a 3rd world country.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is not a review. This is a formal curse that I'm placing on this establishment for wasting now over 10 hours of my time. Shame upon every man woman and child that created this monstrosity of a system. No appointments, no tickets when you line up. just pure anarchy. After waiting there all day the people that didn't get in are just told to return the next day as early as possible. I could not think of a more horrendous form of torture than subjecting someone to acquiring a passport at this location

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It’s sad that people working at the Ottawa office do not understand the frustration when you come early in the morning, take a day off from work just to be told at 3:59pm to come back the next day. And when asked what’s the best time, they suggest 3-4 am. When I asked around 2pm if there was a chance I’d get in, I was told I can’t say. It’s up to you to take the chance! Being sent away is not half as bad as the way they treat you!!! Very sad…

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ they're doing their best and staff is very professional. but seriously there needs to be at least 2 or 3 more passport offices in the freaking CAPITAL if you don't want the whole population of Canada waiting in line 45 minutes before office opening time.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It was a horrible experience! We went to apply for the passport around 7am and the line up was already too long. I waited from 7 am until 3:45pm to be served. People were so tired and exhausted. The line up was barely moving. No one could believe but this is true! We went at 7am and we were in the line until 3:45pm! And when you ask for help they reply as they do not care. I made it at the end of the day but there were still many people in the line up who did not make it and they had to come back another day after waiting for more than 8-9 hours! I felt bad for moms who were with there kids waiting for hours and then did not get served!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Apart from waiting from 6:45 am to complete at 2:00 pm everything else seemed smooth. I blame myself for applying this time if the year. Office was functional at its full capacity. There were 2 employees just to attend the everyone’s queries. They were all patient to listen to all and answer. Made very good friends around and time went flying when we went out in turns to take breaks. Stephanie the advisor inside was quick. Can’t undermine their patience and best customer service because of abnormal wait times.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Arrived at 6:45 on a Wednesday morning. People had been there since 4:30am. There is no sorting or triage of any kind for urgent passports. Emergency travel for family deaths and essential travel gets lumped in with people who voluntarily booked last minute vacations. Many people returning from the day before after waiting all day. Don’t bother. Gatineau is just as bad.
