★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is the third Pajo location I have been to and as I expected the two in Steveston is better. The fish were not as fresh as the ones from the branches in Richmond. Though, if you have a layover and you want to try fish and chips from BC, it's a great place to grab a bite.

The cod and chips was good but the grilled salmon was literally one inch by three inches, paper thin. I was shocked but made a decision to post my experience

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beware of the deceptive pricing policies. I attempted to order two pieces of halibut with poutine. I was told that you could not do that, you have to order those items separately, that was fine. So I ordered two pieces of Halibut and poutine and found out that when you order a piece of fish, even though you’re ordering other things like poutine with it, you are paying more than if you were adding an extra piece of fish to an order of fish and chips. It made no sense to me that the piece of fish would be $8.50 instead of the $7.00 price shown.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I don’t even know where to begin. I used to eat here ALL the time as an aviation employee. I recommended it to everyone, even if they had a stopover at the airport because it was so affordable. I recently stopped here to get my cod burger and it went from $7 to $14! What in the world? I asked if the burger had changed (because it was always a tiny piece of fish to begin with but okay for the price) and they said no. You should be ashamed for this 100% inflation. I will be sharing with everyone. The money that you make will not be from loyal locals but from unknowledgeable tourists who don’t know the difference. Congratulations for taking away a great local love.
