The salesperson really didn't know what he was talking about - I fished when I was young and what he said made little sense. I would have been willing to pay a little extra than some bigger retailers charge if I was able to get some decent info. on returning home I did a bit of research and found that he was confusing a lot of saltwater tackle setups with freshwater.

J	Jackie Lehman on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very positive experience! I am brand new to fly fishing and went in to buy waders. Jordan assisted me to find a pair and was very helpful and inviting. I took the waders home and did a second fitting with all my gear but they felt a bit too big. I called Jordan and we discussed options and said they didnt have the size I might need and passed on to check out another shop they have a good connection with and they might have the size I need and I am welcome to return the first pair. I found what i was looking for at the other shop, returned waders to Pacific Angler with no hassle. I will definatly be making the effort to stop in as I get more and more into this! Thanks for the assistance!

Eric was super helpful with sizing my waders, and really nice even though I had popped in minutes before they closed. Highly recommend this shop!
A	Alex Chiang on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I reached out to Pacific Angler for a river salmon fishing trip and did not regret it one bit. We went out as a group of 3 and our guide Ryan took great care of us. Each of us caught multiple fish and learned a lot from Ryan not only in fishing technique but also river etiquette. Even though the weather was not the best, everyone had a blast because we caught so many fish to the point where we didn't want to take pictures with each fish we caught. To cap it off, Ryan brought us to a restaurant in Squamish where we had some insanely delicious food. We plan on going again for another trip this spring to try and fish for steelhead. Ryan could not have been more friendly and knowledgeable and we would highly recommend going on a trip with him

I got A whole bunch of new gear and a few little things as gifts for Christmas coming up this month. I will try to find any excuse to come back and I would definitely recommend this place to anyone else who is looking for some new equipment or maybe thinking about starting to fish as a hobby.
