E	Emily Stewart on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Kristy and Shaina are two best friends who are amazing at what they do. There are lot of talented hair and makeup artists out there. If you like full-on really heavy makeup, perhaps look elsewhere. Kristy and Shaina are all about keeping you looking like a better version of yourself, but still staying recognizable! The first thing they said to me when I met them was, "We like to keep things natural, and we don't want to cover up your freckles!" That sold me, because my fiance (now husband) adores my freckles. On the day of our wedding on BC's Sunshine Coast (oh did I mention they travel to the gulf islands and the sunshine coast!?), Kristy and Shaina did their magic. I cried happy tears dozens of times that day, and somehow my makeup stayed put all day and night. They also did my mom's hair and makeup and my bridesmaids' hair which all looked amazing - and their hair types ranged from to stick straight to tight curls. I would 100% recommend Save the Date Beauty if you want a stress-free, natural, best-version-of-yourself bridal look. Not to mention the fact they are such a sweet, cheerful, calm and friendly pair to spend the morning with. <3 PC: Shari & Mike

I was struggling to find hair and make-up artists for my micro wedding and I am SO GLAD I stumbled across Save the Date Beauty. Upon first look at their work I immediately knew these were the girls I wanted to work with for my wedding day because of the more natural (read: not caked on) look of make-up they do. Admittedly, I feel a bit lucky to have the owners - Shaina and Kristy - for my special day. These women are gems of human beings. Off the get go, via phone and emails they were so warm and welcoming. During my trial they took what I had provided as ideas and worked with my features to bring out what I wanted but also what worked best with my skin tone and style. One the day, and really all throughout my experience working with them, they were full of good, positive energy and brought an excitement as though they were your own girlfriends stoked for your big day. I just really appreciated coming across hair and make-up artists that value a more natural look and if that is what works for you, you have to work with Save the Date Beauty. They did the moms and both ladies looked absolutely gorgeous and they even last minute took on styling my grooms hair. Thank you both - Kristy and Shaina - you were a dream to work with! I 1000 times would recommend these women and Save the Date Beauty for your special day or for any hair and make-up needs you have.

On the big day, Naomi and Harley were on-time, professional and were fun to be around as we got ready in our hotel room. Not only are they amazing at what they do, but they are so kind, calm, funny and a great presence to have around on your wedding day! After my hair and makeup trial I had a few changes I wanted to make and they came completely prepared on the big day. My bridesmaids and I all loved our hair and makeup! 10/10 would recommend them!
