★ ★ ★ ★ ★ When it was time to move out, the landlord refused to do a move out inspection. Then they ignored all my requests to return the security deposit. Only when I threatened to file a case against them, they returned part of the security deposit and claimed that they will keep the rest of the security deposit to cover the damages. There was absolutely no damages and the apartment was in a perfect condition when I left it!
I did file a case against them and won it in court because they had nothing to prove the damages they claimed, and I had pictures showing the apartment in a perfect condition when I left it. Even after I won the case, they ignored my requests to return the rest of the security deposit as ordered by the court. I had to threaten them to submit a writ of enforcement. And only then they returned the rest of the security deposit.
If you decide to rent at this place, understand that you will be dealing with the mafia!
