My only reason for a 4star instead of 5stars is due to their prices . Needless to say, this institution receives huge popularity for its fish and chips that I must agree to be well-deserved. Fresh cut chips, very well seasoned crispy battered fresh fish and fresh cut coleslaw, although sold at a premium of about $17/plate. I personally got the haddock while a friend of mine got the cod option, both of which are at the same price. The halibut option was too expensive for more than $20/plate, which I understand that it is due to the high cost of importing a premium fish breed. However, their extremely delicious Keylime pie was a very big surprise for us. As recommended by Jacqueline, our friendly server, the pie tasted homemade and extremely fresh, better than any other keylime pies I have ever had. Despite desserts not being the focal point of this restaurant, I stand by my bold claim that the keylime pie here was faultless. Expect a bit of a wait time to be seated if you’re dining in on a weekend, although the hardworking staff here will ensure you receive a table in a smooth manner. The gentleman host deserves some commendation for his cheerfulness which definitely made my friends and my day during our visit to the restaurant.

The best fish and chips in Toronto! I’ve been coming here for years now and the food is always delicious, the service is excellent and the place also has ample parking space. I’ve been here for most of my families birthdays and other celebrations. This establishment is very accommodating. As for the food, I usually get the Haddock with an upgrade to a poutine instead of the regular chips/fries and lots of tartar sauce. I’ve also tried the Halibut which is supposed to be juicer and dense but I didn’t notice that much of a significant difference from the Haddock for the price so I would recommend just sticking with the Haddock. The Apple Crisp with ice cream was also delightful and refreshing. Overall, I highly recommend fish and chips lovers to visit this place and enjoy the delicious food for yourself.

Went on good Friday, the busiest day of the year. Despite a long looking line they were pumping out orders like a well oiled machine. I waited 25 min to order then another 20 to pick-up. If you've ever tried getting fish and chips on good Friday you should know that this is a very reasonable wait time! The halibut was delicious and very reasonably priced.

Fish & Chips is phenomenal. We ordered Halibut with chips and Haddock with chips tonight for our family of 3. Taste good. The batter is thick and crispy. The chips taste nice, too. The interior space is traditional, warm and cozy. People are nice.

I now have two of the two best places for fish and chips! John's Restaurant in Niagara Falls and Olde York Fish in Chips in Toronto. Olde York presented an amazing seafood platter, neither the fish, nor the shrimp were overcooked, the batter was light and crisp and non greasy, the chips were fresh cut. Everything done to a turn,! A little pricey for a seafood platter, but worth it. They were out of scallops, so they gave extra shrimp, which suited me just fine! For dessert I had their home made Apple crisp, wow. The server was efficient, helpful and friendly well worth the visit

Soo good!! We dined in for dinner, lots of parking, no wait, great ambience. Everything came out fresh and hot (I even burnt myself on the fish!!) The fries are perfectly crisp, the fish piece is generous and the batter was delicious. We got the haddock and the cod, both were delicious but I preferred the haddock. Lastly, get the tartar sauce!! It was so good, I don't know what they put into it but I used all of mine up and then stole the rest of my boyfriend's so I could dip my fries into it! Will definitely be coming again :)

We went there for lunch had Cod and chips, Haddock and chips and chicken bun. Taste of fish was so good, so fresh so succulent but chicken wasn't that great, was hard and not that great. I wont recommend chicken dishes there but fish and chips is no doubt excellent. I was in Uk before for years and had fish and chips there many times. Really reminds me old days. Definitely will recommend.
