Worst experience ever. My little kid was referred here by our GP; first we had to wait an hour to be seen because they were running late, then when we finally got in, the assistants who do eye measurements were shocked that the appointment is for my kid not me, even though if they read the chart they will know it’s for a kid not a grown up! and the guy kept saying he doesn’t do pediatric measurement and he has no experience and he can’t do it bla bla bla, while being super rude to us, and he wasn’t even talking to us; but to his colleague as if we are not there! Then The doctor came in and told them what to do; then they used some eye drops for dilating the eye; and one of those eye drops they didn’t check with doctor before using it, as it’s not recommended in his age group! Doctor told them that they shouldn’t have used it and reassured us that it won’t harm him since he didn’t get a reaction right away, but really I lost confidence in the Clinc. It is really the worst clinic and worst team I’ve dealt with!

Absolutely brutal. Referred by my GP. Left messages and it took them 4 days to respond. Finally got an appointment. While I was on my way reception called to delay the appointment by an hour. Fine. Waste time and show up. Pay for parking. Go up to office. Wait 50 mins. Finally ask reception how long it is going to be as there is still 3 people in the waiting room that were there before me and she tell’s me I still have two people ahead of me and there is only one technician and one Doctor with no idea on time. Funny how they have a late cancellation or a no show fee but they wouldn’t even refund my parking when I decided to leave. Do yourself a favour. Go to somewhere that has more professionalism If they look after patients this poorly before you see the Doctor I can only imagine how that goes once you do!

Like the other reviewers on here, I was also referred to this place through my GP. The procedure itself took 1 minute. But I sat and watched the staff run around the place like a chicken with no head looking for tools and equipment to get my procedure started. The assistant was lost, wasnt able to find anything and didn't seem to know what she was doing or needed to be done. The doctor had to hold her hand and show her where everything was... all the while chit chatting as if I wasn't there. I was booked for a quick 30 min apt. It took over 1 hour. At one point I was contemplating to just get up and leave. It was so painful to watch them get organized... more so than the procedure itself which included slicing and burning my eyelid.

I highly recommend Dr. Nisbett. He is a very personable physician, is always willing to answer any of my questions, and takes his time with his patients. However, I regret to say I cannot say the same about his clinical assistant Vanessa. I have had two negative interactions with her where she was very unprofessional; one of which was during a surgical procedure. She neglected to practice proper hand hygiene and after politely asking her to change her gloves between seeing patients, her tone with me changed and she became quite rude/defensive. During this eye procedure I was expressing I was in pain. She then told me (in front of both myself and the physician) "it's karma" for what I had requested earlier re: the basic hygiene practice. The second interaction I had with her was just as unprofessional and her comments were very disrespectful. It is unfortunate such a person with poor/rude bedside manner is employed with such a good physician. In my opinion her attitude is uncaring. She should undertake further education to significantly improve her patient care/interaction, or maybe she would be better suited in a role that is less patient focused.

I want to recommend the good service my father has received at the clinic, specially by Vanessa. She is very kind and respectful with him. He has had many appointments and he is at the clinic frequently for his checkups because he is taking very strong meds for his lung cancer which affects his eyes. Thanks for all your hard work and help we really appreciate it.
