In the large, shared office of multiple Ophthalmic physicians, the many receptionists at both counters seem consistently busy thus slightly annoyed at the common confusion of so many patients; usually seniors with many questions. The technicians are very kind, patient and helpful. Through the years, Dr. Bhui has consistently been authentically attentive to provide in-depth care with thorough explanations and providing referrals as needed. Because of this, he has a big client list. So whenever he is in the office, there are always many waiting to see him, creating a generally long wait time. Still, I trust his expertise.

ATTN: Dr. A. W. Pratt Dear Dr. Pratt, We have met you in the past and found you to be a very professional and courteous doctor. However, during your absence, we cannot say the same for your extremely rude and incompetent staff. We were scheduled for an eye exam at your office on April 29, 2019 at 2:45 pm. We arrived a half hour early as a courtesy to your staff. The receptionist checked us in, updated my address and told us to have a seat. We sat there for over an hour without any updates on our expected wait time. When we inquired at the desk the receptionist simply shrugged and told us to sit down again. After 2 hours of waiting we and the 4 other clients, who were also waiting over 2 hours, started to get very upset and frustrated. When we asked at the desk again the receptionist finally told us it was your replacement (Dr. Yuenโ€™s) first day and he was extremely behind schedule. My questions are these: Why didnโ€™t the receptionist tell us there would be an over 2 hours delay when we arrived? Why didnโ€™t she offer to book our appointment for another day or call us a few hours before we arrived to do so? Why was there no concern for excessively wasting the time of busy people who were missing work for this appointment? Why did Dr. Yuen not even make eye contact or explain himself to all the angry clients who were complaining loudly? Why was there no apology offered for such incompetence? In the end, we left your office in disgust at the lack of customer service and professional courtesy. We wanted you to be aware of this situation and to understand the reasons why we left. Iโ€™m sure it is not your desire to run a medical practice that does not communicate with or care about the needs of your clients. Your staff clearly needs to learn how to schedule appointments effectively and to re-book them promptly if the scheduling ever runs this late. They also need to apologize when they make mistakes instead of ignoring their clients.

Dr. D did my upper lids just few days ago. Before procedure I was freaking out a bit - he did everything to calm me down. During the procedure he kept me engaged in conversation, talking to me and joking around. After procedure he explained to me what aftercare should look like and what should I expect. He sent me home with written instructions and everything else I needed for after care. I am booked for follow up appointment in his office soon and am looking forward to that. Up until now he did not disappoint. Before the procedure I saw him only 2 times so I am not one of his regulars for him to be personable with me but he did awesome. Nurse Ivy assisting him during the procedure was amazing!!! BK

I was there Nov. 2020. The receptionist (Asian girl with glasses) is very rude. She saw me standing in front of her by the counter. First, she doesn't even do any greeting. So you already feel that you are not welcomed. Secondly, she makes you wait one to two minutes for her to finish typing before she starts talking to you. That is NOT good customer service. She should be fired.

Had an appointment with Dr. Dhaliwhal. Extremely rude and unpleasant. Appointment lasted for five minutes where I explained my symptoms and he referred me to somewhere else. Blatantly lied to me repeatedly. If youโ€™re thinking of going here donโ€™t bother, really donโ€™t bother. I shouldโ€™ve listened to the reviews here and not wasted my time here. Thereโ€™s a reason why this place attracts so poor reviews. Some receptionists are very rude too.

I got most annoyed by their telephone system! I tried to call them so many times but I could only listen to their recording messages that kept on repeating and repeating again and again! Could you please improve your telephone system immediately if you really want to do business with your clientsโ€ฆ

I was supposed to have an appointment with them and was directed by my optometrist to confirm a week before. I tried calling many times over the course of a few days and they just never answered. Sometimes the phone would ring and then loop back to the automated message, where I had to start over; other times it would just immediately be a busy signal; and other times still it would start with the former and then suddenly the latter, which made it feel that they were just hanging up on me. I never managed to get through to confirm my appointment, and after seeing all these reviews it may be for the best.

Not organized at all. My appointment was at 1515 with doctor Dhaliwal. As i am waiting another patient comes in saying he has an appointment at 1515 with the same doctor i had. I go up to the reception saying i also have the same appointment time with the same doctor and all she says is โ€œto just have a sit. The doctor is running behind.โ€ Why would you book 2 patients at the same time and make them wait. I had to wait there for 50 mins. Very unprofessional.
