My experience with Lasic MD was very positive. The clinic is spotless; the process is well organized, the staff is knowledgeable and professional, they promptly explained all steps and answered all questions. Preoperative, surgery itself, and post-operative periods went smoothly with great support. Most important is the outcome- now I am glasses and contacts-free! Thank you, Lasic MD!

I got Laser eye correction surgery in July 2020 & elated to state that my vision has been phenomenal, the entire team leading up and following the surgery was fantastic. If you're thinking about correcting your vision I would highly recommend Lasik MD and to do it sooner in your life than later. Thanks everyone at Lasik, you've improved my day to day life with the simple enjoyment of witnessing the finer details.

They were very clean and professional. Took there time to inform me of all the benefits and risks. Even followed through to make sure I was okay after the surgery. 10/10 would recommend this place if you’re looking for laser eye surgery. It still doesn’t feel real being able to wake up and see perfectly.

I had a great experience getting laser eye surgery here! All the staff I interacted with were very friendly, knowledgeable, and went out of their way to answer any questions/concerns I had. I was super impressed with the staff's expertise, and how personal they made the experience during my consult, surgery, and follow-up appointments. The surgeon and surgical team were awesome and they made the procedure both easy and efficient. I would highly recommend this location to anyone considering getting laser eye surgery!

Wonderful experience from beginning to end. Positives: Everyone was friendly and put me in a good mood. They answered questions thoroughly and were patient when I had more questions. I went in for my consultation on Thursday, had my operation on Saturday. Feeling almost 100% on Monday. Payment options were ridiculously easy. My pain/discomfort was less than my COVID vaccine. Only negatives: Expect to be there for what feels like an eternity on your operation day. You will sit upright on a chair for 3 hours waiting for your turn. Does it ultimately matter? Not at all. I was told about the wait beforehand, I was told the reason for the wait beforehand. They were honest. Only improvement I could make is maybe lounge chairs (which is saying something) 20/20 (pun intended) would recommend.

Like most people who have LASIK, I was incredibly nervous, but they made the process as easy as possible! Everyone I met was so welcoming and accommodating, from the clinical counsellor who made sure I had water, lent me her cellphone charger and let me hang out in her office, to the surgical assistant Taro, who comforted me during the procedure and really calmed my nerves. Even the surgeon described what was happening and what I needed to do in detail and gave me a high five afterwards. I can’t say that it isn’t scary, because it is, but everyone who works here will do everything possible to make sure that you are absolutely fine. I woke up the next day and could see perfectly with no discomfort at all. If you have been thinking about this procedure, I honestly really recommend it and I really recommend doing it here!

Great care and very friendly staff. I gave one star less than perfect because same day surgery was unnecessarily stressful. Not knowing which surgery I’d be getting meant I didn’t know what my recovery time would be. It’s very different for LASIK and PRK, so I recommend scheduling your assessment well before your surgery date so you can book enough time off work and get your affairs in order. I was sent away my first surgery date because they found a speck on my cornea and decided not to risk the surgery in case it was bacterial. Although it was disappointing in the moment, It gave me complete confidence in the care I was receiving. As a result, I also knew exactly what kind of surgery I’d be getting when I came back in a month, because they had completed my assessment. The second time I came back, everything went smoothly and the staff were very friendly and even upbeat, which eased my nerves at every step. The actual surgery is only about 10 minutes, but you’re at the clinic for about 4 hours going from one room to another to test different parts of your eye and review aftercare. There’s lots of time in the large comfy waiting room, so I was able to work on my computer right up until the moment I went in for surgery. Great aftercare with regular follow up appointments where they retest your eyes and continue to educate you on the healing process, as it can take 2-3 weeks for the liquid under your cornea to fully reabsorb and the remaining blur and glare to fully go away. Keep using eye drops keep your eyes moist! They help so much. Overall, I’m amazed and grateful my vision is now better than 20/20. No more dry contacts that don’t sit properly on my astigmatism or smudged glasses. I’m so excited to go hiking and backpacking without having to worry about my eyes. Worth every penny.

I had the most positive and uplifting experience at LASIK Vancouver clinic. Even from the starting point of virtual consultation up until the day after my surgery, I felt completely supported and guided by the staff. tarot, Shane, Lisa you guys were amazing! I highly recommend looking into it for yourself if you’ve ever contemplated it. Aside from being practical, it is always very meaningful to look the way you envision yourself at your best.
