J	Jess H on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A stunning hotel that I love returning to whenever possible. The lady at the front desk was accommodating, kind, helpful and fun - a great sense of humor. We always feel welcome and taken care of. Would recommend to anyone.
T	Taslim Arif on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Probably the best hotel in Cowichan. All the staffs were friendly and wonderful. Had a delightful talk with Wendy at front desk who loves history and facts. Rooms were huge with water view. Heard about cow cafe in the hotel but couldn't visit this time. Will return soon again and will try their cuisine. Best part was getting complementary Hot Beverages in the lobby. Hot choco was yum.
S	Steve Wallis on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The view can’t be beat! Internet speed is usable for personal use, probably slow for business use, but this property generally caters to pleasure travellers. The pool has not reopened with the covid restrictions lifted. Pools being reopened is something to watch closely and this will separate the properties serious about hospitality from the others who offer economy lodging, pools are expensive to heat and restrictions would be very tempting to extend for many owners. We hope to see it open on our next visit. Comfortable mattresses and pillows, white sheets, pillow cases, and towels. Complimentary hot beverages from a commercial Keurig bean to cup machine by the lobby. Full kitchen suites, you could cook a full turkey dinner no problem here, the fridge looks like it’s from the 70s, but those ones last forever so I don’t blame them. Furnishings are a little worn, but not out of style yet. Would highly recommend!
S	S Kids Gaming on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ First the positives. Great view and central location. Unfortunately this is overshadowed by a closed restaurant, pool and fitness facility. Even that we can accept due to renovations and Covid but there were no mention of this when we booked neither did they make allowance for it in their rates. The biggest negative though was the demeanour of the desk staff. Of course these are easily fixed if they care enough to do so.

Hot tub and pool were closed which was disappointing, but they offered a reduced rate for the lack of clarify through a 3rd party booking service and hopefully it will be open again soon!

They had great senses of humour, great recommendation (specifically the baked potato pizza at Moo’s). They were great with my baby boys and my dog. Thank you for the great stay!

We were able to wake up to the beautiful views of the ocean and a calming sunrise. The room we had was executive and it has a full kitchen, living room, walk-in shower and king-size bed. Both rooms have large windows to oversee the gorgeous marina. They offer breakfast delivered to your door in the morning for an additional cost but it was so worth it! Highly recommend the eggs benny and traditional breakfast. We really enjoyed our stay here and will definitely be coming again in the future! I highly recommend this place if you want to check out the Cowichan area.

If you are a family who prefers not to eat out all the time, it's nice to have the kitchen. For my husband and I though, we didn't need the space. I chose the room based on it being one of the lower prices per night. The hotel is very dated and needs some major renovation. The bed was sagging and not very comfortable, lighting very dim in the bathroom, shower head rusty. We are very sympathetic to the staff shortages surrounding COVID but the room was not very clean. The view is spectacular and we saw lots of wildlife, but didn't find it necessary to pay $230 + tax for that feature alone. Wendy at the front desk was amazing. Very friendly, personable and made us feel very welcome. I would not stay here again.
