Horrible! I was sold Joe Fresh Jewelry This store is quite pretty, my wife and I went inside and really liked their jewelry. I purchased two necklaces for my wife, one for $74 and one for $54. When we got home and took them out of the bag I noticed that they were both from Joe Fresh! (Superstore) and both had small, metal Joe Fresh tags still attached to them. Also, one had dirt or make-up crusted on the metal tag, and hairs wrapped around the clasp. I was so disgusted. I called to complain and was given some story about how they sometimes sell 'gently worn' pieces. Neither piece was advertised as such. Will never, ever, buy from here again.

A friend of mine walked into your boutique today and were immediately sneered at by the old lady wearing a fur vest who looked absolutely miserable behind the counter. We felt completely unwelcomed and decided to leave. Too bad because we drove just to see your shop. May I suggest reading β€˜How To Win Friends and Influence People’ by Dale Carnegie to brush up on your customer service skills. I won’t be back.

Beachology is a favorite destination every time I want a little getaway from Victoria. This is the order. Drumroaster coffee (and orange brioche bun if I’m not doing lunch), lunch at the Pub (dream of that chicken cran sandwich), whereupon hubby sits and finishes his beer while I stroll to this little gem of a store. Every time I visit I find some amazing tidbit that I can’t live without. The owners have a keen eye for design and fashion. Jewellery is to die for. Quality of clothing is wonderful. Classy hippy chic is the vibe - we all need a little bit of chill. The store is calm and relaxing, low pressure. Just the way it should be. Need to support amazing small businesses like this one. For the other unpositive comments, I hope you’ll revisit Cow Bay, and leave big city expectations behind. It’s a special place.

I have shopped here for a number of years and I think their clothes are interesting and different from what many boutiques offer. My experiences have always been positive and I am surprised by the 2 negative reviews. In my long experience of purchasing fashion as a customer I’ve discovered that even good stores sometimes have issues with some clothing brands and the best plan is to contact the owner and deal directly. Kim sounds as if she is a very committed store owner who wants customers to be pleased with their purchases so I just wanted to point that out. in fairness to her. Otherwise i love the many cute, trendy clothes and I hope you still carry Liverpool jeans because the only other shop-besides online- I can find them is when I go to a beach town in Oregon! I am almost 70 now and I can always find something

I followed the store online from Vancouver and was super excited to visit it in person in October. My daughter and I were the only people in the store and the sales person/owner? did not make an appearance from the back room for a good 5 minutes, didn't greet us, didn't smile, or ask if we needed assistance. The shop is beautifully decorated and at a beautiful location. Their prices are high for what they offer ($50 for a coffee mug) and would have been nice to see a range of price points. You can usually tell how a store is doing by how many customers, or not, there are in it. Anyways, the products were lovely, although expensive and the person working there was not welcoming at all. I don't think I would go back unfortunately because I love supporting local businesses.

I visited the store a few weeks ago for the first time. (My friend knew I would love it) The owner was lovely and welcoming. She left us to browse her beautifully staged store; she’s sourced such unique items. I bought a beautiful necklace as well as a gorgeous basket, and am now obsessing about the things I β€˜should have’ bought! I can’t wait to go back when I have more time to shop, next time I’m down island.

Lovely, airy shop. A pleasure to browse. My first purchase was a perfect summer linen dress by a Vancouver designer that I promptly proceeded to wear 3 out of the next 7 days! Well worth the cost in my books :)

This store is absolutely gorgeous and the clothing is dreamy. Their jewelry, pottery and cutting boards are all one of a kind but everything is so expensive it is truly for the elite or maybe a really special gift card. I bought two of their soy candles (for $40 each) and was very disappointed with how they burned. The fragrance is beautiful and unique but the candle itself burned unevenly and is very difficult to light without having a lighting stick. I would steer away from this product.
