Nolan Hill Veterinary Hospital - Calgary

Would like to start this review off by saying, that before I came here - I was very committed to a different vet for over 7 years in the city, and with them I lost faith in a trustworthy, reliable and affordable vet - until I found Nolan Hill Veterinary Hospital with Dr. Thompson and her amazing team. I now have since taken all 4 of my animals to this team and have not been disappointed in any department. We've worked with them on major teeth surgery, chest xrays, and lung issues for one of our cats, dental cleaning, vaccinations and checkups for our medium sized nervous dog, and an overview of health for one of our chonkier cats. Dr. Michelle Thompson has been so very honest with us each step of the way, is mindful about our specific situations and very understanding, and overall has been such a wonderful Veterinary to work with. She is honest in her capabilities and when specialization may be needed, and charges us so fairly for such great and amazing service. She's reminded me that there are great, passionate and trustworthy vets out there who do want the best for your animals. With a very busy schedule, I do rely on email as a primary contact method and each time Kinga and Amber have been so responsive to my questions, appointment requests, and have been so amazing and welcoming each time I come into the clinic. Kinga goes the extra mile by reminding me when I've forgotten to respond, fitting me in where she can, and is constantly so personable and insightful. She also very clearly loves and appreciates all my fur babies that I bring in, and treats them as if they are her own (This whole team does!). Amber has also been so amazing with my nervous nelly of a dog, and remembers each time he comes in that he is a nervous dog and will be very aware of the environment and ways to create safety for him. She's also been so personable, upfront and helpful in so many ways. This team never disappoints me and the cohesiveness of the team has created such a wonderful experience for me and my animals. I highly recommend Nolan Hill Veterinary Hospital to anyone who is looking for an affordable and trustworthy vet. They truly do go the extra mile and will do what is best for your animal.

We were with Dr. Rowe even before she opened Nolan Hill. We have full confidence in her as a vet to our two small dogs. She has always been responsive to our concerns, calling after hours at times. She recently went above and beyond when we were out of country by contacting a local vet on our behalf to provide information re our dog’s health history.

They have an amazing team here! Our dog is extremely scared of going to the vet but the ladies here made the experience very pleasant. They encouraged us to bring our dog in for happy visits before her actual appointment to familiarize her with the environment and also gave her lots of treats! Dr. Rowe was very patient and kind and took the time to listen to our concerns. We cannot recommend this clinic enough for all fur parents!

Nolan Hill Veterinary Hospital is fantastic and I would highly recommend them to anyone. Dr. Rowe is excellent. She is very thorough and she genuinely cares. Telina is the best groomer ever. My dog is always excited to see her and she always looks amazing after her groom. Amber, Kinga and Michaela are incredibly friendly and incredibly helpful. Fantastic customer service. The entire team at Nolan Hill Veterinary Hospital is amazing!

I take both of my dogs here and they're always welcomed with so much excitement and love! The front desk staff are all amazing and clearly care about all the pets come in. Also every technician and vet we've encountered have been so kind and helpful. I mixed up the time of my appointment one day and the wonderful staff still ensured my pup got seen and got their full attention. I really appreciate everyone at Nolan Hill Vet!

Brought our two cats to see Dr Thompson and she was amazing! The hospital is very clean and all the staff we encountered were very kind. The pricing was very reasonable and we got an explanation of how we were being charged. The room was great for our cats and they enjoyed exploring while we discussed their health! Our Dexter gets very anxious at vets but he did wonderfully during his visit! And our Daffy was great... until they cut her nails. It was so heartwarming to see the amount of love and care everyone had towards our babies throughout our visit. Thank you for the great experience! See you guys next time!

After having an awful experience at another vet, I decided to transfer to Nolan Hill veterinary hospital. Transferring was the best decision I made for my cat Peter, Dr. Rowe is extremely knowledgeable, friendly, kind and passionate about her work. I would highly recommend her expertise to anyone. It’s worth mentioning as well that all the other staff are very friendly and welcoming, overall a wonderful safe place for your pets!

I take my dog here for the vet and for grooming! They have been taking care of my dog ever since she was a puppy and they are absolutely fantastic! Great location as well. Highly recommend Sarah for grooming!
